Report a translation problem
Thank you very much, and as for the Grab Menu, I have added support for controllers, so please make use of it.
@Dester
I have confirmed that the latest version (B42.10.0) at this time is basically working fine. However, sometimes an error occurs when trying to OpenAndDrink a can placed on the ground, etc. If you encounter any strange behavior, please provide me with detailed information.
@BoringRose
Thank you, I hope it makes your gaming experience a little better!
@Si-Cafe
日本語メニューのOpenAndEatなどは、関連するバニラのメニュー(OpenCan)が日本語翻訳されていないので敢えてそれに合わせて英語のままにしています。その為、関連するバニラメニューに合わせて今後翻訳予定です。
Thank you using my mod, I'm glad to help you :)
Sorry for the late reply, thanks for the report. I have replied to the thread, please check back for additional information.
@XiaoGaming
Thanks for liking it! I, too, can no longer play without it!
Secondly, i just made a bug report in here , figure i should let you know, you might not receive the notification otherwise.
Keep the awesome work.
Cheers.
Thank you for the report. Actually, we were aware of this issue during development, but I believe it's a problem with the vanilla implementation. It was possible to fix it on the mod side (by adding a distance check), but I felt that this should be addressed by the vanilla side, so I chose not to make any changes. This issue should also occur in the vanilla version, so if you can reproduce it, please report it as a bug to B42 as well.
Yeah, that’s right—since this mod is all about how to kill, it’s safe in a way! Jokes aside, thanks for answering on my behalf; it really helps a lot!
@defqwop
Thanks for the suggestion! I haven't used that mod before, but I'll check it out.
@Neo Delphi
I'm really glad to hear that it feels like a vanilla experience!
@Blerd
Haha thank you! That change in vanilla made smoking a bit more realistic, but it definitely added some extra steps. I wanted to make it just a little smoother again—glad it helps!
@hrannarg
"This mod is just a small tweak… but for those who were bothered by the hassle of item retrieval, it's a giant leap forward. "🚀
Thank you for making it your favorite in under 5 minutes!"
Thank you for the report and sorry for the late reply. You mentioned errors when retrieving one container from another or when taking a gun out of a gun case, but it seems to work fine on my end. Since “shopping trolley” appears to be from another mod, there may be a conflict—could you please check if the error still occurs when using only this mod?
@The Sommelier
Yes, it's safe to use this mod mid-game!
@VVentos
As mentioned in the translation thread, it’s already been applied. Thanks again as always!
@Ксерокопия члена, @ЧВК Сахарок
Haha, I was like “?” for a while (I thought maybe it meant something in your language!) but I finally realized! I’ve fixed the image, thanks! Opne!!
Glad you like it! Hope it helps with the Day One and Bandits mods for sure!
@:v
Thanks, glad you’re enjoying them! 😊
@Pyrilo
The vanilla change to require opening cans first adds more realism, but I know it can feel a bit tedious. With this mod, drink as much as you want!
@RandomGames2005
I know right! It’s such a hassle to drop items on the ground when we can already see their contents in the tooltip! That’s exactly why I made this mod, to make things more convenient!
@garbage raccoon
Sorry for the late reply! Has there been any improvement since then? If you could provide a bit more detail, I'd be happy to look into it. Please feel free to reach out if the issue is still ongoing!
Thank you for your suggestion! You’re absolutely right—there are still many ways to improve UI and controls to make things more convenient. That said, this mod’s concept is to assist the player without breaking vanilla behavior, providing a simple UI that feels close to the base game. I’ll keep your ideas in mind and consider how far I can implement them while staying within that concept!
@Omni
Thank you for noticing the icon too! I'm really glad you liked it—it's actually the part I always put the most effort into. This one features my old Ultima Online character, a little thief girl I used to play! Now that you mention it, she does look a bit like Frieren, haha. I'm happy it caught your eye
@Fawkes
Thanks a lot for the awesome comment! Hearing that it feels like it should be in the base game totally made my day! I'll keep working hard to make fun and helpful mods like this one.
Whenever our player grab the (A)bag content from inside another (B)bag, the content of (A) will return when they left and return to the chunk where (B) placed.
Thanks always for your QOL mods, they are all awesome
Just kidding. It's perfectly safe. I added it in a server 5 months in.
PS: Love the Frieren looking avatar in the mod logo.
I hear you! PZ is awesome, but yeah, managing items can definitely feel clunky sometimes. That’s why QoL mods are so important – they make everything smoother and more enjoyable. I’ll keep working on improving that experience as much as I can!
@black_rose
Aw, you're making me blush! I’ll do my best to keep making mods that you’ll love. Thanks for the support!
@🌠Tospp
Thanks so much! Really appreciate the support!
Merci beaucoup ! C’est un mod simple mais qui fait vraiment la différence ! Je suis content qu’il te plaise !
@THE NEFARIOUS ANGLERFISH
Aw, thank you so much! That means a lot to me! I’d definitely love to see smoother UI in the game, so I’ll keep working on it and improving where I can. Glad you like it!
@eidemon
You're too kind! I’m just doing my best to make things better. Glad you think so though!
@Zav
Thanks for the suggestion! I don’t personally smoke irl, so it's not a top priority for me, but I think it's a good idea in the game. I’ll see if I can figure out a way to implement it!
@Jurld
Thank you so much! I totally agree, QoL improvements make such a big difference. I’ll keep doing my best to help make things smoother while we wait for the devs to catch up!
Much love! <3
@somewhatfrog
Glad you like it!
@アンジェル
Must-have?! Now that’s an honor! 😳🔥 Thank you!
@Space Donuts
Thanks for the suggestion! The condition for displaying a warning depends on the inventory or container you're currently using, so it's a bit tricky. Since this mod is still new, I'll add it to the list of things to consider for future updates!
@Wyr, @hagen.a.sohnle
Thanks for the kind words! The concept of this mod is like to give access to the icons that appear in the vanilla tooltips, so it's a bit different from adding nested containers or making icons on the right side of the inventory list. I thought about allowing multi-level access in my UI, maybe up to two layers, but it might make the UI a bit too complex and potentially too powerful. I'll think it over some more! I want to make it convenient, but not turn it into something that feels like cheating compared to vanilla.
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3410947298&searchtext=nested+container
I wonder though if you'd be interested in making a nested container mod?
As in, a mod that puts the bags inside a player's inventory or other bags on the right, where the other inventory icons are.
There used to be a good mod for it for b41, but as far as I know there's not one for b42 and it sounds like a QOL mod that's right up your alley.
