Speaking of spindown, my system for decrementing item hints was apparently broken, but I managed to fix it with this last update. Sorry to anyone who had problems with it.

To me this essentially just introduced arbitrary difficulty to the game and really discouraged some of the skill expression the game had to offer since players also cannot do much in the way of manipulating or min maxing their item drops via rerolls etc when they don't know what they are rolling for in the first place.
Your mod creates the perfect middle ground and actually adds some consideration to the choice of picking up a blind item.
My goal with this mod was to remedy that by giving the player more information to take an informed gamble, while still keeping the suspense of risking it all on a blind curse room item.
