ist das hier jetzt das aktuelltste ? den ich habe folgendes problem , die dinger schalten sich auf rot bei einer entfernung von ca. 40 km ? gibt es da ne lösung

I placed an advance drill about 120 meters above gold and silver and the only ore it see's is the silver. I checked the scan range, and it's set to 300 meters. I kept clicking scan and all it does is extract. Does the power of the drill need to be off when trying to scan? How do I fix that?

Is the malus due to proximity between dril is stil active ( or the same ) ?
I have no sound for the advanced drill (I liked the sound of the original mod just to loud ^^)

If I was using the version by Math, can I replace that one with this one without issues? Or will that cause a problem?

working great for me, though the power req is a bit much. Had to setup a battery + some wind turbines and have an event controller turn the drill off when the battery gets too low, then back on again when it has enough juice. Also they have no sound at all? like I appreciated that it had a volume slider but was still expecting a thump when I turned it on, not it's just silent at max volume

I find with out the better ore mod it Says 1 extra Ore then it really Finds i have not found a fix for it yet but i don't know why its not drilling for you because it works in every test i have done and the Test i had others try.

For example, the drill will say it detects 5 ores yet the filter only has 4 options, and doesn't pick up on it, nor can you blacklist all other ores and have it mine that specific one.

Yea I have same issue with occasionally some nodes not showing up despite being less than the default ore distance (<300m), it's worse when it's a cobalt node for some reason.

My Advanced Static Drill doesn't seem to want to mine anything? I have it right over a cobalt node and nothing shows up. I've torn it down and rebuilt it a few times, I put on a Yield module, It says there's 1 ore there and then nothing comes up in the lists.

The part I can't figure out is precisely how the drill decides what ores are available. The stuff they're right on top of is not always the stuff they see. Sometimes they instead detect stuff that is further away and not directly below the drill. And sometimes they can be moved to a new location (either by disassembly or by moving it on a ship) and still not change what they're detecting and able to extract. This is in an asteroid cluster with, amazingly, every type of ore in the game.

Alot have Changes @Kevin Starwaster it has a Range Slider, Mines more then 1 ore at a time, Speed and gather is better, no longer have to put your Drill on the Node anymore

I am so glad you were able to post a backup of this mod. I prefer this version over the other that require the drills be placed into the voxels. I built an expanding base concept that uses the stone drills to both provide fuel for the fusion reactors and stone for early component manufacturing.

Well one of the drills is working. I couldn't get the Static Drill or the Basic Static Drill to detect ores, but the Advanced Static Drill detected both the ice and the uranium and is extracting both at the same time. I haven't tried the stone drill.

thanks! will try it out, I did like the changes before with the reduced noise, multiple ores per block. also for anyone interested you can swap this with the original at will in your mod list and they replace each other. thanks for taking a look:selike:
