@Nickuss Ciao! I'm glad you're enjoying my mod(s)! Right now I'm mostly focused on finishing all the loose ends of my multiple projects, so for now there's no plans to start anything new (although I would love to have either an Alpini, San Marcos Btl or Bersaglieri unit).

Aside of the overwork issue, I also had a ton of problems when investigating the Esercito, as if they were paused in time and the PASGT, AR70/90, M12 and Vegettato were still the norm... so it was honestly hard to pull a complete unit for that, it would barely fit a squad inside of a multinational platoon...

It's absolutely impossible to unlock this options after singe campaigh. In fact, they both actually require 16 level which is max. I did 3 or 4 campaigns. at level 11 and I did not unlocked them yet.

I checked doctrined a bit, but I did not studied details of each one, especially support ones, especially ones which I cannot pick now and willl not be able to pick until last squad level at which point I'm not sure I even will play them after that. So, no,I did not find it. So yes, it's hidden.

If item is unable to function properly without doctrine, Ideally you shoudn't be able to buy or use it at all, but if it's impossible due to game engine, at least item itself should have notification not to buy it until you unlocked doctrine.

"Hide" it's a BH-locked item, meaning you need to play at least 1 campaign to unlock it, meaning you're going to be at the very least level 2 when you complete it, meaning you need to at the very least look at the doctrine, that... I don't know, has an icon of an aircraft carrier and a M109... so yeah, it's definitely hard from "hidden"

If you're one of those that decide playing the game isn't for them and gives themselves a million BHs or has the observation skills of a plaster cat, it's not my fault. They are literally locked behind Battle Honors so the player HAS to level the squad up and LOOK at the unit.

@Mr Bin. Press on the little "+" sign at the bottom right of the main menu, it will take you to the mod manager. Press on the mod(s) you want to activate, and press Back. It will pop a message telling you to restart the game. Accept, and now just simply create a new squad.

Part II (too long of a comment).

The long story, they host a terrorist group that attack French and Spanish interests in the region and export terrorist cells to Europe. France gets very pissed off, and intervenes in the country, with the objective of reinstall the president back in power after getting rid of the Norobbian junta. Of course, Spain decides to join the French in this intervention, and if you want to know how does it go, you'll have to play the campaign when ti is available.

About the Commandos getting shreded, it is normal, your units are completely cracked. But in pure numbers, the Commandos are better shooters than the SSI operatives. However, contrary to SSI units, their critic is around a quarter. It is not fun to get randomy one-shot every time you get graced by a glorified pistol bullet. that is why they're so "easy" to destroy.

@PhantomBravo. It is a fictional country of the Sahel (the countries south of the Sahara Desert, like The Congo, Central African Republic, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali, etc)

The only "French" they have is that they share language, you know, France really loved Africa. About as much as the United Kingdom and Germany before WW1.

How are they so well equipped? Have you seen any African army that isn't anchored in 1980? They got the same fancy High-cuts than the super high speed units, same armors, and even the same fancy combat shirts. Norobo is getting closer to China, South Africa and Israel, so it isn't strange for them to have more than enough suppliers for fancy stuff.

Why are the Spanish fighting them? Because I wanted them to.

What's the lore behind the Norobbians? Why do they seem to be French? How are they so well equipped? Why is the Spanish military fighting them?
I find it funny that a commando decked out in full modern gear still gets absolutely folded in pretty much every gunfight.

The radio can't call for support on its own, just speeds it up. Basically instead of taking 5 seconds to call for support (only works on the AV8 and the M109), it only takes 2

Exactly like the SWAT "MEDEVAC", you use your imagination lol. It is flavor text, the important part you need to know is that your men are less likely to die in campaign if you purchase it.

in the tree of the legion there is a doctrine called "no man left behind" that says the medevac BMR will drive into the line of fire, how to use the medevac BMR tho?

Although I wouldn't say that they speak much French tho, haha. Once I'm done with the Spanish voices I'll try to fully change the OpFor voices. I don't know yet if making them speak completely in French, or in English with accent and some French word here and there.

great mod, squads feel unique and the opfor are a nice touch, I just pretend their PMCs or something for headcannon. Fighting French equipped and speaking OpFor while capturing HVT is fun

@jonexhd. About the question of the radio, yes, that's how it works; about the FGNE doctrines, yes, I know, it shows as a placeholder because it's a placeholder. Most of the FGNE doctrines aren't finished, I have been working on the BRIMAR doctrines until just now, so I barely made any for them.

@Metal Izanagi. Yes, like the previous 3 times this has been asked, they're using the vanilla voice lines until I can record and edit all the remaining ones.

Right now it is at 54/195 lines for the troopers, with all the lines for the commander and sniper left too. It isn't a really difficult process, but incredibly tedious and with a lot of re-recording.

Are their voices supposed to be in Spanish? I keep hearing them saying stuff only in English. Custom voices from other mods(Including your Fallschirmjager mod) work fine.

Pero mira, la Z84 no es mala idea como arma inicial para el MOE/EZAPAC en vez de la MP5, algo así como la transición de COE a MOE, le daré un par de vueltas, pero no prometo nada!

A principios de los 2000 a mí me tocó usar la Z70B en las pocas guardias que hice. En el EA, la policía aérea aún la usaba. Y la Z84 para protección de autoridades, aunque como pistolo especialista, yo esa la veía poco.

La verdad, es que estuve pensando durante mucho tiempo en incluir tanto los Z70B como los Coruña Modelo 44, que alguno apareció por la antigua Yugoslavia antes de que adoptásemos los Accuracy, pero me pareció que ya estaba yendo demasiado atrás en el tiempo para lo que se supone que es el mod (desde la guerra de Irak a nuestros días).

Así que, a no ser que en algún momento me dé por hacer una unidad de picoletos o del GEO, dudo que aparezcan, eran los únicos usuarios a principios de los 2000.

Hice un desafío de jugar un tour de 14 días con la legión usando sólo armamento de los 90 (CETME L, VL y MGs) y fue una experiencia muy divertida. Pura pirotecnia mayoritariamente :steamhappy:
Sólo eché de menos un arma para interiores y espacios cortos.
¿Tienes pensado modelar los subfusiles Z en el futuro?

@Gene_Solomon It's not surprising, Spain isn't exactly the most exciting topic to LARP as, lol.

About your question, yes, it is possible, but first I want to complete all the remaining doctrines first (and I've been saying this for a literal month, but it's the most tedious part of absolutely everything), and once that is finished, start with the other long postponed tasks, like unifying the portraits styles, correct typos and descriptions, and other not fun at all things.

¡Muchas gracias! Como te comenté en la traducción, las voces están en los archivos del mod, y pueden accederse a ellas, pero como el juego añade una cantidad absurda de ellas, he decidido dejarlo todo en inglés hasta tener todo en castellano.

(Como apunte, si alguien quiere doblar algún personaje, es más que bienvenido, si no, me temo que tendré que usar voces generadas por IA)

Así que si, en algún momento, cuando acabe con todas las doctrinas, todos los pequeños bugs, añada las voces (que por desgracia voy a tener que hacer con IA por simple falta de gente que quiera ponerle voz al mod), y algún que otro añadido más, pues me pondré a unificar los retratos para que sigan todos el mismo estilo :)

Sobre tu pregunta/sugerencia, hay un poco de todo, como he dicho, son 3 años, así que he ido añadiendo cosas conforme las aprendía y se han quedado en el mod por nostalgia pura y dura.
El del casco es completamente hecho a mano de principio a fin, el operador de radio es, uno una foto real redibujada, y el otro es la misma foto, pero con la cara del del casco puesta con IA; después, hay múltiples retratos (que quiero quitar cuanto antes, pero hay otras cosas más importantes primero) que son fotos con efecto de pintura al óleo (que seamos sinceros, no es que quede especialmente bien), luego tienes retratos del juego con uniforme españoles, y finalmente, los de la palestina, que son uniformes dibujados a mano, con la palestina y la cara añadidas con IA. (y luego está el modelo 3D del juego redibujado que nunca llegué a terminar y da un poquito de vergüenza de ver).

El mod es una genialidad aunque no esté terminado, solo una sugerencia tío, los retratos no sé si los has hecho con IA, has blurreado fotos reales o es "artwork" pero molaría tener los retratos del juego base con uniformes españoles. Quitando eso currazo de mod, un gusto ver a las F.E tan bien representadas.
