Red errors are never normal. You can read the last 5 comments and see if they fix your error. I explain quite well why the errors occur, and there is also a way to prevent them, but I don’t feel like mentioning it in every second comment.

I did update to the 1.6 version of Medieval Overhaul, but some other Medieval Overhaul-related mods hadn't been updated yet, which caused the game to break.
So I ended up downloading an older version of Medieval Overhaul from GitHub to downgrade back to 1.5.

However, I think the mod may have updated again in the middle of that process (I had Steam set to offline mode, but it must have accidentally gone online at some point 😢), which led to the textures breaking.

That’s why I was asking if there’s any place—like GitHub—where older versions of your mod are available.
I didn’t mean to cause any confusion for you, and I’m really sorry if I did. 🙏

I seemed to have fixed my problem. I reinstalled MO, as well as reinstall your mod, and all seems to be working now. I don't know exactly what the problem was, maybe mine somehow wasn't up to date

Are you using the latest version of Medieval Overhaul?
Regardless of whether you're playing RimWorld 1.5 or 1.6, it's important that you use the latest version of Medieval Overhaul. Otherwise, it's expected that the textures won't display correctly.

I can no longer reproduce the issue on my end. I've tested with the current version of Medieval Overhaul on both RimWorld 1.5 and 1.6, and for me, both empty and filled crates are displayed correctly.

The reason for this is that the folder structure of Medieval Overhaul was changed in the latest update. I’ve updated my mod accordingly to match the new paths. So if you're using an outdated version of Medieval Overhaul but have already updated my mod, it's no surprise that the textures appear incorrectly... or not at all.

Hi! I'm still using RimWorld 1.5 and your patch mod no longer works correctly after the 1.6 update.
All the texture images are broken after the update, and I'd really appreciate it if you could share a GitHub link or a zip file of the last 1.5-compatible version.
Is there any way I can get the old version?

May I kindly ask you to remove this "MOxASF Storage" architect menu and override the default MO storages in the "Storage" tab? Would keep a cleaner architect menu

Thanks for updating. The texture paths to the full ones are working, but the empty ones are broken now.

Could not load Texture2D at 'Things/Building/Storage/Brick2x2Empty' in any active mod or in base resources.

My 2x2 brick and 2x2 ingot storages lost textures too. Sometimes they show up after i move them, so when empty, so the texture switch seems to be the problem. Playing on 1.4 but it seems to be an issue on newer versions as well.

Hope you can fix it and i profit from the fix as well (though i don't expect it because i know 1.4 is old). 💚

i just loaded a minimal mod list w just the required mods for this and adaptive storage alongside fishery and performance fish and received no error codes...

I loaded the exact mod list i had previously when the errors showed and there was no errors. none when placing down the buildings either.

no clue what happened. maybe a mod updated with a bug then and then it got hot fixed b4 i loaded up the game today?
