I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but I kinda like Squad for being a noisy/loud game. I like that the sounds are all so loud and distinguishable from one another in Squad. But at least for me, I feel like the mod in its current version has become a lot quieter, which I'm not a fan of.
I can understand the change, but I'll be going back to the old version for sure. All in all, thank you for your fabulous work. Your mod really made the game shine brighter for me.
for other's bug details
And yes it does gives milita an flashbangs...
ahhh thank you !...
You need to enable it.
-Title screen lower right are some buttons
-click mods and select the ones you want enabled
-click below the picture left of the thumbs up to enable
-now you will see a checkmark as indicator that the mod is running
(the game might do a restart)
-enjoy
There is just one thing I've noticed. The sounds are missing their direction. Shooting sounds seem to come from everywhere. The main sound, not just the reverb. That seems to mess with the balance of volume.
Funny thing is, that I know where this comes from. I just happened to edit some reload sounds for a mod for DK2 today and noticed this. As soon as you use sounds with stereo channels, the game can't get point of origin right. I had to swap my encoding to mono for these files, as sad as it is. But that made the sound come from that direction where the point of origin was.
Nontheless: Thanks for your awesome work. Keep it up and have a nice weekend. : 3
