Didn't found any issue with it yet, seems to work like a charm and without conflict.
Could you possibly make an option to have many more storage slots?
- 2 cutstones; 4 bundle wraps; 1 blue gem (norm)
- 2 gears; 6 bundle wraps; 2 blue gems (hard // 2 gears)
- 4 gears; 6 bundle wraps; 2 blue gems (hard // 4 gears)
- 8 gears; 6 bundle wraps; 2 blue gems (hard // 8 gears)
- 1 restrained static; 2 gears; 4 scraps (post-lunar)
Our personal opinion: bundle wraps allow for infinite food storage, they are portable and can be obtained as soon as you kill Bee Queen. The thing is they require constant packing/unpacking and after a while it becomes tiring. Mod optimizes it, but does not increase your inventory size and not portable, while costing four bundle wraps. If you wanna, we can make a discussion to talk more about balancing and recipes. We are also open to other suggestions c:

your wayof thinking is broken, icker is a post rift thing, and difficulty depend on many factor, even more if you play with mods.
What is difficult for you is different than for other, and what you would have in 10 days , more, or less, is too.
even the number of players in game will change the difficulty
like we have 2 ways to save food forever
bundle wraps and Icker preserve kit
make option with much harder recipe
freezer is way too strong for this items you can get it like it 10 days if you really want it
while icker preserve kit might take at least 40-50 to get
Indeed, we should balance the mod for higher difficulty levels, there will be a mod update for sure.
The normal version make sense as an alternative of this
But like I said, I would appreciate an harder version, somehow more logical ^^
I share the recipes version I have in mind, but it's just an opinion, it's your mod, don't feel forced to please everyone.
Harder version:
- 4 electrical Doodad
- 4 cut stones
- 3 Gears
- 2 Moon Shard (for the front glass ^^)
- 1 Chilled Amulet (or maybe just more blue gems ?)
Harder or different recipes is just a nerdy things, but I am one ^^, feel free to take inspiration of it or not, your mod is great whatever you do
And who look cool on top of that.

I somehow feel like Jack below, I think that the cost could be a little too easy for a so powerful structure.
But the "Hard" and "late game" version from jack seems unbalanced, at least for me.
I mean, adding more bundle wrap isn't that taxing for a player who already unlock them, even less if there is a killer bee biome.
The "8" Gears is...a little masochist ^^", 2 is ok, or 4, but not more, it's a rare item that we don't have that much in stock.
And I don't think that adding thick fur would make sense, after all it's use for cloth stuff, not structure.
For the item from Wagstaff, the Restrained Static, why not for players who want to make this structure post-rift, I will never use it like this ^^'
Cause i would add 2 more recipe variations
Your - normal
Hard - 6 bundle wrap, 2 blue gems and 8 gears
Late game - 1 sparkling capsule (or how called thing Waggstaff gives you), 2 thick fur and 12 scrap
