It looks like the official version has received its patch update as of yesterday, this mod is no longer required.
I completely forgot to mention that, but i would suggest you doing so, just in case.
Although i doubt it would cause problems, i wouldn't risk it.
Correct, that's all i was just intending to fix, just the boot into game issue. At least for now until the original gets updated.
This version allows you to boot ingame
If you have a ongoing playtrough it is the same mod as the orginal.
all this version touches is the character creation screen.
i will take this version down once the original is updated and working.
However, I managed to keep the species saving process intact, somehow.
It may barely function, but it is functional to a point.
location of species selection is inside the char preview
saving and loading Characters does not save the species and causes a ignorable error.
reason i posted the fixed files at the orginal mod was to support the orginal mod author and hopefully allow them to fix it quicker.
In the original version, a patch was released for the game itself, the character creation screen overhaul patch for B42.
This game patch caused the mod to break completely, and softlocking the game on the main menu.
This version just fixes the softlock, allowing gameplay once again.
I can confirm it does indeed work.
