Yeah I've been told this works just fine in V69, but I haven't updated it because I lost my json files, and it's annoying to remake them one by one by hand to allow updating to steam again.

What you can do to fix it is have More Houses have a higher priority (i.e. lower number in launch sequence) to make sure it doesn't get overwritten.

@J did you add the vulemar mod? That's what the other person was doing that got them that error. It has nothing to do with my mod other than the _home.txt in my mod being overwritten by another mod.

I'm not getting that error at all. I just started a new game with V68, and made each house. No issues. The _home.txt in init and text folders have 10 items. If that's not the case for you, I'd recommend telling steam to unsubscribe and resubscribe to make sure it gives you the current version.

What is the error? Are you using this mod with any other mods? What are you doing to get the error?

Crashes my game in version 68. It says that there's an error in the house's mod.

You're using V66 and not V67 or V68. You have to opt into the latest beta versions to play them. This one works on V68 only, Roundhouses works on V67 only (and has some issues I couldn't fix) and neither work on V66, which is the default steam version, as you are experiencing.

Oh well, I'm in too deep in my current playthrough to start a new save so I'll stick to the save friendly version for now, but I am awarding u a superstar for the sincere work, cheers

Note: If you made star houses on 1.1.0 A... you need to destroy them before using 1.1.1 A or you won't be able to destroy them w/o a crash. You can download the old versions below and place them in "%appdata%/songsofsyx/mods" for windows. Place the whole folder (not zip) which has V68 and _Info.txt inside.

OK I just updated it again as I figured out how to fix hearts and stars, but the way you do it is... click on "6 Change Notes ( view )" which should have each version and allows you to download any version...............hopefully? IDK if everyone can see it?

I probably will if I can figure out how to get steam to do that. I will likely add new shapes first, but I'm working on a tourism remake mod too, so ... we'll see when that happens!

Ok, I am sold, but would you consider making a "increase in number" variant of the mod, for new saves and playthroughs?

I couldn't make them "increase in number" (by pushing e or the + mark) without making it incompatible with base save games, and that wasn't acceptable to me :c

If you want them next to each other, you can just place them individually, but with the way it is coded, Jake's houses take 54 of the 63 slots since he allowed houses to be placed in groups of 9, 15, and 30. So I only had a few slots to work with and I wanted room for more types of houses.

You can manually place any houses next to each other without internal walls and maintain the 100% insulation/isolation value
