I also did this testing with all my other mods enabled and disabled separately, so it wasn't a mod compatibility issue.

Ok, I did some testing and it only seems to work if you have the mod enabled when you start the campaign. I started a new campaign with the mod enabled and it worked fine, but when I tried enabling it after starting a campaign it didn't work.

The mod is only half-way working. Ropes have been removed but there's still only one siege tower built per turn.

要是能够像骑砍一样开局只有两组梯子就好了,现在这个MOD的问题是ai自带一个工程器械直接开打,工程器械打不了城墙和城门,AI就傻傻站在原地不动,干等六十分钟结束

BUG很多希望可以修復,AI只要有帶努砲 投石車 就不會建造工程器械,全部會跑來徒手坎城門砍到天荒地老

大佬,能不能做一个守军加强的mod,不然刚打下来的城池,或者资源点很难守,而且能不能开一下守军能用阵型

汉代攻城确实大量使用垒土塌城的战术,挖地道勉强属于还原历史吧哈哈

做的很棒,有一个问题现在,就是AI攻击城池的时候他挖地道,城墙倒塌,他依然不用攻城器械,直接从破损的城墙直接进去了,攻城器械成摆设了,所以能不能限制AI围城的时候挖地道啊

大佬!攻城塔建造没有给两台(任然只有一台),是我这个mod排序有问题么,我个人只装了名将复兴和黑熊还有五虎将等一些名将的模型。

This mod is a game changer. Especially with UAD where 90% of battles are siege battles.
You can always destroy gates by hand, but with heavy losses. A must have.

whatever team worked on Empire, Napoleonic, shogun 2, might have worked for this game too since those games used ropes. What having rope do in this game is make being required to build siege equipment feel redundant and a waste of a turn.

it is weird that chinese use cloud ladder to siege city is normal at that time, but CA let they climb with rope. What the hell is that? Rome 2 total war have ladders. why, why

When I destroy their siege tower. They just stand back there forever. unfortunately I set the battle time limit is "unlimited" so I always have to come out and fight.

I can't open my gate. Normally, when I control the enemy’s gate and send my troops near the gate, the gate should open, but it doesn't. I think it's a bug.

@Schnell_Scheisse @Burgerman I think it is possible, but that is beyond my ability.
@Jontej Yeah animation and battle_pipe in _kv_rules_tables, but changing the speed of the climbing rope might also change the speed of climbing siege tower.

Nice work! Not a fan of the units climbing using ropes feature. It's a shame CA didn't add ladders to the game, I guess adding them is not possible for modders?

Hey, would it be instead possible to make the climb a lot slower? That way the AI wouldnt get stuck. Say, 3x times slower than normal. Is this up to the animation?
