love the mod bro, whenever I add the air carrier to the planner it flies itself away from the combat zone every time. Is this a native game thing or could it be possibly fixed?

More like a cruise missile, supersonic bomber, and SSBN all wrapped up into one package. The concept of the SLAM is to have a nuclear-powered ramjet missile that can effectively stair airborne indefinitely, and load it full of warheads or short-range missile that can be dropped or fired at targets, I believe the original called for somewhere between 8 and 16 bombs. Once expended, it'd just crash into the ground, causing a radioactive blast of nuclear scrap but not an actual nuclear explosion.

Love this, it is so much fun to use, my one thought would be that their placement in the tech tree seems wrong and limits the verity of scenarios we can use these wonderful assets in. While we don't have aircraft carrying submarines and flying carriers today that is not because the tech inst there yet. The Japanese developed a carrier sub in WWII and the Lockheed CL-1201 was envisioned in the 1960s. I think both of these should be moved WAY further to the left on the tech tree so they are easier to unlock and use for more of the game in longer games.
