i unpack your pbo, i convert config.bin to config.cpp changed the 1000000 health level i go to dayz tools i go to addon builder i add files and then build. build fails.

Sledgies It's simple. You need to unpack, make a correction and pack it into your modpack with your own key.
This has already been written about below, in the comments.
If you don't know how to do this, then you need to learn.
There are many resources on this topic.

Micro and Addon Builder from the Dayz Tools set are used to work with mods.

I have loaded this mod into my Server Pack, made a types file etc and got it working and spawning correctly however, if I unpack the pbo and (even without making any changes to the files) repack it, it refuses to work. I believe it might have something to do with the licencing key but I might be wrong. Can you make any suggestions. I have tried to in my Server Pack, and as a separate mod. To make it useful on my server I need to change the hitpoints (strength) as it is un-killable in the default state. Thank you

You need to add the classname to your types:
WY_Treeman
WY_TreemanHEAD
and spawn using the necessary methods
If you need to adjust the parameters, you need to unpack the PBO, adjust it, pack it in the PBO and place it in your modpack, then publish your modpack in the steam workshop.
To use this, you first need to learn how to work with Dayz Tools

I was able to add this mod into my own server pack of mods - that's the easy part. My question is, how does this mod "activate" on my servers? I don't see any .json or extra .xml files that I have to configure.
