Also, can you remove the matchlock unit range change? There are other mods that can handle that -- and better -- and that alone fucks up the mod list I have.

@P4elkin Sorry but I have no idea how to fix that. I have included all text strings for m custom effects too. Unless it's a DLC requirement issue, I really have no clue.

occurs if the game language is different from English. I launched the game with this mod in German, Russian, French and then this error appears.
Is it possible to somehow fix this bug?

would love to see some chains for the leased land.
Foreign market = Gives prosperity and some wealth, maybe some luxury trade items, or increases income from trade routs.
Foreign Powers = Gives repression and garrisons Portuguese units.

@Sazanaki This mod has no other mod requirements, only DLC requirements. The x3 clan packs and the sengoku jidai are required.

Hi! thanks for looking into the matter. But unfortunately it still didn't work for me.

Fortunately! I took the liberty to checked it myself in with PFM (Because I feel bad for taking your time), and found the issue! Next to "Faction Unique" column, the The "Religion requirement" is supposed to be empty for the port, since to convert to Christianity you need the port first and then the quarter. I hope you didn't mind me fiddling around your mod file, and I hope this helped!

@Iron snake I think I may of found the issue. The nanban ports were "Faction Unique" meaning you can only have 1. I have unchecked this box and updated now. Hopefully this solves the issue for you.

I'm aware of the nanban event and have gotten a few in my play save(but those are heavily modded that's why I start testing), also I have tried using a script to make it available without the cinematic. But the option is still not there, the Otomo can build the nanban port just fine, but I tested this mod with the turn one nanban script with the Shimazu and I cant see it. sorry if im taking your time

@Iron snake The nanban ports are only available when you are Otomo or you unlock the cinematic where Christianity comes to japan. This cinematic I believe only appears when you take land near Otomo. There are mod scripts that allow faster Christianity to come so you can go with christ faster.

Hi there, I've been greatly enjoying the mod you've made so far! but I can't help but ask, why can't I create the Nanban trade post? I've tried it with this mod only but after reaching the trading port my options are only military, merchant, and pirate port.

@FlipFlops That will happen if you destroy the blacksmith building and replace it with something else. Every regional building will retain its original name in the top title, but have its new name below, with the new details. Not found a work around for that yet.

@karmone01 All "Vacant Land" can be converted into any regional building. I have tested this myself. You may just have mod compatibility issues. Try shifting the load order to see if that helps.

Hi, I'm having a lot of fun with the mod so far but I've encountered a problem. I took a settlement with a weaponsmith and wanted to convert it to an armoursmith instead. I demolished it but now it's just "vacant land" and I can´t build anything there. This is game breaking for me honestly I can't bring myself to play it cos I had such high hopes for Satsuma

@AudaciousDuckie Not sure why this is happening to you. I have not found this to happen in my games. Can try to shuffle the mod loading order to see if that helps.

Hi, not sure if I have mods conflicting or if its a bug, but forge of warriors stops allowing me to recruit any of the bullet proof samurai, but the previous buildings will.

Tried this mod out and while I definitely like that resources are now attainable without having to partake in the ship-trade race, it really breaks the economy and you make way too much money. Also the faction wide bonuses to troops building is a little OP imo, as it allows further bonuses to be applied on top of the bonuses the building adds, making troops a bit too strong.

@Lrnzo309 It should be available with the pirate quarter. If its not, it must be a mod conflict with another of your mods that include the black ship. The default black ship is set to christian religion only, my mod removes that restriction, however if you have another mod that includes the black ship with the restriction in place, it will overwrite mine. Best bet is to set the mod high in the load order, at least higher than any mod that includes units.

@GAROMPEX Thanks. Pretty sure you need to capture Otomo capital and wait for the christian cut scene first before you can create nanban stuff. There may be mods out there that speed that process up.

Hello, i've been enjoying the mod, good work man. I'd like to know how to build a nanban trade port.
I've been playing as shimazu and on the trade port appears the nanban icon but once i built the trade port it dissappeared and is not an option for upgrade.
Would really appretiate the help as I need to spread the word of jesus

The guy responding is correct, it happens because the modder either misspells or neglects to include the text string relating to the effect. If you plan to buy the DLC, at least wait until its on offer, in case that's not the case and it ends up being a waste of money.

That may be the direction i can look into it since i don't have all the clan dlc. I get them and try them but i think that may be the reason no only this but some other mods don't work also.

@Deathbringer It may be a game version issue or a DLC issue. I have all DLC except fall of the samurai. Pretty sure my game version is set to whatever the default is. I have no issue if you want to take it apart with rusted packfile manager and see what works. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I tried to only use this mode stil the same also the mod buildings show up in the left upper corner and not the bottom left. Is there a possibility that the game version causes this?

@Deathbringer Thanks for the info. What you're describing is what happens when there is a text entry error. For example, SHO_Pirate_1_Smugglers_Cabin is entered in the text section with any misspelling causing exactly that. My only guess is you have another mod with similar building names causing this error. I have tested my mod, even by itself, no text errors at all. If that's not the case, I really have no idea whats causing it.

@Hauser 1.The names don't show in the tech tree (don't know if they should) 2. Buildings that are conected in any way to the mod don't show like normal ones but like before the names don't show and the backgroud does not show up so it just shows over the map. Not sure if other mods affect it to be this way or that is just the way it is.

One of the best mods. Literally changes the whole game with so many new buildings and functions. I took the risk and added it on my 2 hours in save, played perfectly fine and I also have another 15 mods. Thanks a lot!
