Hi, thank you again for the mod, I'm still using it in pretty much every playthrough right now. Was just wondering if there would be chance of a compatability patch between this mod and definitive zombies? They work together if used in the same save file with no crashes or red box errors at present but for some reason the zombies walk slightly quicker until they get close to the player character and then change to what I am assuming is this mods behavior, with slow walking and different animations.. It may very well be me making mistakes and I need to go into sandbox settings to correct something however I did want to ask myself as well. Thank you one last time.

Running this mod with Grabby Zombies and Wandering Zombies enhances it so well it's like the Holy Trinity for TWD fans, thanks so much for this mod 🙏
this is incredible.. please b41!!:steamthis:

I hope this doesn't come off as petty(?), but is there any way you can switch the pursuit animation as seen in the video to the default shamble seen at the beginning? I don't know why, but I never liked that particular shamble. lol

@Choko @Kitten Whisperer I tried it and it doesnt work on B41
Choko  [author] 20 Mar @ 3:41pm
@Kitten Whisperer That's what I did in the last update! I'm not sure if it's working, I haven't tested it in B41
Kitten Whisperer 20 Mar @ 6:33am
@Loona @Choko
You can make this mod work for build 41 by moving the AnimSets folder from [TWD>Build 42.0>Media] into the [TWD>Media] Folder
supercrysisrunner 18 Mar @ 11:55am
can you make the zombies unharmed by fire, just like fear TWD season 4 ?
Eri 8 Mar @ 11:32am
6 Mar @ 6:41pm
A must have mod for me. Would be really nice so that fast shamblers still move normally when close but not sure if that's possible when changing the animation sets because i think the slow shamblers and fast shamblers share the same ones?
Loona 2 Mar @ 6:25pm
should make one for b41
Loona 2 Mar @ 6:23pm
it don't thats why i was asking
Choko  [author] 2 Mar @ 6:06pm
@Loona I think it should work on both! Let me know if it works for B41
Loona 2 Mar @ 5:24pm
is this b42 or b41?
Choko  [author] 1 Mar @ 6:53pm
@srirach First, ty for valuing this mod. I hope you enjoy it a lot! And second, thank you for the research along with the time you invested in it
srirach 28 Feb @ 7:56pm
this mod is a masterpiece with shamblers option ONLY and very high pop settings

memory/sight/hearing - random between normal and poor, zombie count - very high, zombie migration - disabled, speed - shamblers (with speed tweaks from this mod), strength - weak, transmission - saliva only, population multiplier - very high, population
start multiplier - normal, population peak multiplier - insane, Population Peak Day - 90, Respawn Multiplier - 0.05, Follow Sound Distance - 75, Rally Group Size - 25, Rally Group Size Variance - 33, Rally Travel Distance - 10, Rally Group Separation - 10, Rally Group Radius - 5, Zombie count before deletion - 500

Here is the video with tweaked values: https://youtu.be/IofRNiF3Hhs

I find this preset the closest to the original Walking Dead series
DevID 28 Feb @ 3:49pm
Oh well, no problem then, It's still a great mod
Choko  [author] 28 Feb @ 11:36am
@DeviiiNzzz sorry, I misunderstood. This game mode is designed for slow shamblers. If you have some zombies with higher speed, it is very likely that what you say will happen to you. It is not intended for other configurations! It is based on the TWD universe.
DevID 28 Feb @ 11:13am
Would be cool to see it, I still wanted them to have keep their speed in regards of the distance so makes it a bit more difficult. I think that making them slow down when they get close makes guns way more forgiving, and I'd love to suffer a bit more. Anyways, looking forward for new updates
Choko  [author] 28 Feb @ 10:48am
@DeviiiNzzz That's right! It's on purpose, I thought it was good to leave a variant of them so they appear from time to time but much slower than usual. I have another animation about them that I'm working on, maybe I can replace it or add it, I'm not sure, but I'll work a little more on it over time. Thanks for the comments! I hope you can enjoy it.
DevID 28 Feb @ 10:27am
The mod is really good and works fine, my only "complain" would be that, in case of fast shamblers they become the slow variant when close to you. But overall great mod
srirach 28 Feb @ 8:15am
@Choko yeah, man i was enabling twd WINTER IS COMING mod in pz menu and changing values in twd folder >< thats why it didnt work. My fault.

Anyway if anyone also find zombos too slow with Shamblers only in world option try my tweaks:
change m_SpeedScale to 1.15 in lunge1.xml
m_SpeedScale to 0.85 in zombieWalkSlow1.xml
m_SpeedScale to 0.80 in zombieWalkSlow2.xml
m_SpeedScale to 0.70 in zombieWalkSlow3.xml
m_BlendTime to 0.80 in slow.xml
Choko  [author] 27 Feb @ 9:27pm
@srirach You're lucky! haha Don't touch the slow.xml and defaultLunge.xml files. Just change the speed in the remaining 4 xml files and don't exceed 1.0 for testing purposes. Later, if you want, you can experiment with the defaultLunge and slow files, but I don't recommend it!
srirach 27 Feb @ 9:19pm
@Choko sadly it doesnt work for me :( It was the first thing i tried - changing <m_SpeedScale> value in every 5 files one by one = no effect unfortunately

But the mod is super cool. Before i started using it - my thought was that it also has an option in settings to change slow shamlers speed a lil bit faster then og pz shamblers (like +5%, +10% +15% +20% more move speed or just +0%).

Anyway, thank you ❤️
Choko  [author] 27 Feb @ 10:58am
@Avihs158 you know... I've been thinking about that, maybe I'll do it over time, especially when a lot of them pile up in one place
@John Pacifist the animations before that also had their speed reduced. I didn't want to make it excessively slow, but I preferred to leave a bit more slowness for the end.
@Fred Cooper Es algo que siempre me molesto pero lo tomaba como un desafio hasta que quise hacer un sandbox parecido a TWD asi que esto era necesario, al parecer a muchos le sirvio y me alegra!
@srirach Hey man! change speedscale in the XML and it should work
@RockCaster I'm so glad you like it! That used to happen to me too, it felt unrealistic that everyone would rush to eat you in the same way. This gives a different perspective.
Choko  [author] 27 Feb @ 10:58am
@waffle @Aves @psykos @Bloody Cop @beppithepenguin @ppernsteingolem TY!! enjoy!!
@mariogamerepic74 I should! If not, let me know.
@BennyLol BeLike haha maybe It depends on what settings you use. You can make it difficult in other ways, that's why it's a sandbox game.
@🖤 TAMI 🔪 I totally agree! That's why I like this approach, a large number but weak and stupid. I like the configuration that can give us a TWD universe beyond the fact that I really enjoy the comics
ppernsteingolem 27 Feb @ 8:02am
Both working fine. Many thanks !
RockCaster 26 Feb @ 3:15pm
FINALLY SOMEONE MAKE IT POSSIBLE
No longer slow zombies inmersion ruinned when they get close
srirach 26 Feb @ 3:11pm
Hello! It's a great mod! Can u tell me which value i can change in files

zombieWalkSlow3.xml
zombieWalkSlow2.xml
zombieWalkSlow1.xml
slow.xml defaultLunge.
xml lunge1.xml

just to make them a lil bit faster? I tested with very high pop and really love it!!! Just need to adjust speed a bit 👽 (i am using shamblers, not fast shamblers world option)
Fred Cooper 26 Feb @ 2:16pm
Justo hace un par de días estaba pensando en lo molesto que era que los tambaleantes se hicieran más rápidos cuando te acercabas a ellos
niko the seal 26 Feb @ 9:19am
they only start moving slow when they get into the normal shamble distance
BluntRotationCore 25 Feb @ 8:42pm
*chefs kiss*
Bloody Cop 25 Feb @ 5:53pm
its perfect
psykos 25 Feb @ 12:29pm
omg ive been waiting for a mod like this FOREVER
Avihs158 25 Feb @ 12:17pm
Great mod. Would be cool to see elements from zombies trip and other such mods where they bunch up and fall over each other randomly included in this one as well.
Honestly, I feel as if there were ever a real zombie incident, this would more accurately reflect reality. They would be slow and shambly, they wouldn't have super human strength, just a heavily debuffed human with a hunger for flesh.
BennyLol BeLike 25 Feb @ 7:17am
literally project zomboid easy mode
mariogamerepic74 24 Feb @ 8:59pm
does this work in b41?
Aves 24 Feb @ 8:06pm
Oh man it took way too long for a mod like this to come out. Great stuff! I'm adding this to my Dead Rising load order.
waffle 24 Feb @ 4:56pm
thank you! looking forward to using it : )
Choko  [author] 24 Feb @ 1:51pm
@Azazeal TY! I'm working on another fairly extensive mod, so I don't promise anything, but I might consider it if it's not too difficult to implement
