@Galvenox You need the Gantry added by the Exosuit Framework mod to do that. Get the Gantry, then the storage buildings next to it and then you can build up Exosuit proper.

how do I actually make the exosuit itself? or am I stupid? I've got all research done and enough fragments but I can only make modules and weapons

Additionally, any weapon you have equipped prior to utilizing the suit mysteriously disappears. SAD

@TheForbiddenCornBread Once you make 1, the game is already over. I came to assist another faction from a mechanoid raid. The raid was composed of a few apocritons, a few diabolus, tens of centipedes, and other low level mechs. I was only downed by psychic shock, after 3hrs i stood up and continue the slaughter. I stayed 3 days in the map, and continued slaughtering mechs for 3 days straight as the suit removes 90% of the need for sleep. I kept kiting enemies as the weapon has almost a third of the map range. whenever my shield goes down, no melee or range damage can penetrate it, ever. Lastly, stagger chance is 0 percent, meaning no matter how many times you are hit you will never be slowed.
That is how OP it is.

Thankfully, boss posted the slightly balanced version. Imma shift to that

Okay cool...but like... how op are we talking? There's no examples.
Is this thing gonna rip through 200 man raids without a single scratch kind of op or is this just a step above the highest tier warcaskets that you can get? Still very strong but have to keep maintaining it.

have issue with weapon, it seems like both melee or gun are showing attack animation but not doing any damage. no CE installed

Sorry for hijacking the comment section, but whenever I see MAG being mentioned I tend to take a looksie.
I'm actually working on MAG2 [a complete remake]...or at least I do whenever I have nothing to do at work, cuz XML can be edited in almost anything.
Back on topic, if you don't mind me asking @Frodo Baggins, would you happen to know of anything that I should avoid adding again to keep it reasonably balanced? I already have a big no-no list, cuz after a while I noticed I didn't make the best design decisions :lunar2019laughingpig:, but any new info would be useful!
Ofc I'm aware that this kinda mod will never be completely balanced and that the power fantasy is part of the appeal, but I wanna actually try and not make it completely bs this time lmao

For my final point i have 3 words: Infinite Health Walls.
Shouldnt need to explain that, rather than complain a mod is op just let the community express its self even if its overly powerful.

Sure helpful advice is nice every now and then but this mod quite literally is an archotech exosuit, the exosuits alone are broken af this one screams from the title its broken and thats fine the point is to have fun and if your bored well just add some difficulty mods until you get the thrill of ripping and tearing

@Mismagius i use it all the time and i think its immensely broken endgame. Not even void compares to you if you have the addons for it and even then the psychic artifacts alone which they cant use turns the tide immediately if used correctly.

Do you only have 1 dude with like 6 psychic recruiter and like 12 void dudes attacking u? Welp those six dudes are now your best friends and are attacking their old faction

A billion tribal's are attacking you? Just use an psychic animal pulsar now everything wants to eat their innards for no reason other than you activating a 10 archotech fragment costing artificact which if you set up the right ideo doesn't take long to get 10 fragments just do trading a bunch or kill like a ton of mechanoids.
