@FLUFFY CAT happened to me too, but i kinda figured it out that the guts should at least be encumbrance 1.0 and your water source should be 0.8L, i don't think it supports sink cleaning though.

@ForsakenShell, that comment was intended more for the original author. I put out a patched version of this mod that fixes the issues with the butchering hook and cleaning guts that I'll take down once @Gutosenna updates this one. But DirtDiver99's instructions are accurate except the amounts of meat will be reset to vanilla levels.

@ForsakenShell found it. just copy the butchering lua from steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\lua\shared\Definitions\animal
and paste to
steamapps\workshop\content\108600\3432399223\mods\ButcheringAnimalsPlus\42\media\lua\shared\Definitions\animal

so far, it works as intended afterwards.

@TheOriginalStove - You copied what from where? Please be more explicit than "the functions over from the vanilla file" - what vanilla file, what functions?

Looks like the errors for the butchering hook are because the game is trying to call some functions that are missing from the ButcheringUtil table. Copied over the functions over from the vanilla file into the mod's lua file (shared/Definitions/animal/ButcheringUtil.lua) and that fixed the issue with being unable to use the hook with the latest update.

I'm also having issues with pulling inventory out of modded containers to do crafting. It will act as if it did, but it will return all items and not return any product. I used a modded vehicle and a different mod (the popular connex mod)

Obviously yours is unrelated now that I sadly had to remove it (it's a great mod, thank you) but I wonder if there is a issue with the inventory aspect of mods that's causing the issue.

I am not sure if this mod is the cause but I also do not get any sinew and this is the only mod I have that alters the butchering . Also I don't seem to be able to shoot any animals but zombies works well

@jwinter, three things could have happened, either the guts are rotten (you can't clean rotten guts), or there isn't enough light, or there isn't a table near the character.
check this, if it continues you can contact me and I'll look for the error.

@AromiaFlyce, after the last update there were some bugs related to the cutting of the animals' heads, but I have already reviewed and tested this week and did not give this error again, but if this error persists you can contact me and I will review it again.

Blood meal which is fertilizer ingredients should be spawned with farming stuff/animal fodder but I keep finding it in in kitchens along the food, in fridges etc.

Dirty guts from pig worked well but dirty guts from a cow are not recognized for cleaning/in crafting menu. I have 5 of them in the inventory, they are visible in the "available items" in crafting menu but still the icon is red along with "missing ingredients" and it's impossible to start crafting/cleaning. I have water it is white.

I tried using this mod with a cow and a deer. Was unable to remove the head, but I was able to after removing this mod. Is the cow/deer bug also fixed? thank you so much for your work!

The bugs have been fixed.
Usually when there is an official update, some files generate errors, because there are significant changes in the codes, as was the case with the raccoon and deer head, I ask for patience after updates, whenever possible I will update for you.

- in response to the previous comment, I'll be adding gut cleaning via rain collectors and rivers at a later date.

@Rooford, I reviewed the code and didn't see anything related to this bug, it could probably be another mod conflicting with the vanila files that generate these bugs.

These raccoon errors will be corrected and the meat and offal values will be revised.

Hey, i like your Mod. But could you add a possibility to tweak the Amount of Flesh, Lard and the other Stuff in Debug?
Right know, if you have 1 dirty Gut (-6Hunger) you get 6 Clean Guts ( each -15Hunger) Each clean Gut can made into one Sausage. Thats way to much for my taste. I Slaugthered 6 Piglets and i got over 80 Dirty Guts (butchering lvl 10). Thats Madness.

Interesting. I turned off the mod and went to the debug. Spawned a few raccoons and there was no issue with butchering them without this mod.

I have the same issue - raccon doesn't drop meat nor skin, I got stag head instead. Attempt to get bones from raccon skeleton does nothing and a few errors pops up.
