Looks incredible. Any way to scale up the amount of logs and resources each tree produces with the increased size?
Park Ranger 6 Jul @ 10:05am
Nice mod, but I found these trees.. distracting? I don't know what I feel exactly, I just don't like it to some degree. Just an idea, can you consider making multiple versions with different sizes? Let's say your original mod is x2 the size of vanilla trees. Then maybe a few versions with x1.5, x1.75, x1.25? Because I like the idea of somewhat bigger trees, but with "x2" version, I feel like i'm in the sequoia forest.
BTW I have installed your other mod that makes veiw clearer, so it's not about "I can't see shit with these tall trees" at all.
Much love, thanks for mod
Title Fight Enjoyer 5 Jul @ 6:42pm
love this mod but it makes driving a bit fucky when im flying off my motorcycle because a colossal tree is blocking my vision from above
Plin 24 Jun @ 10:09pm
НЕ ставьте мод если не хотите потом е@аться с деревьями, у которых видимость не настроена чуть более чем полностью и из-за этого не видно полгорода, кстати удаление мода не откатывает изменения
区区致命伤 22 Jun @ 10:40pm
It's best not to start the zombie run in this forest. I have died several times because the trees blocked my view. I have temporarily given up.
Mr. Troll 6 Jun @ 3:11am
It's a bit too hard to see even with the treezvisibility mod. The trees look great but i also wish to know where i am :(
Capt. Val'conis 4 Jun @ 1:22pm
Not bad... Way more trunk space than the cars.
Five Guys One Cup 1 Jun @ 6:41am
Great mod but the trees are maybe a tiny bit too big. I say this not because of their size (bear with me here) but because it's too difficult to see unless zoomed all the way in which sucks with sprinters. Also the default bitmaps or sprites or whatever aren't scaled properly so they look a little off but honestly it look better than Vanilla, so it's more the inability to see.
Wrench In The Plan 30 May @ 1:14pm
I've also been having trouble seeing anything when driving through wooded areas - such as the road to Guns Unlimited from Echo Creek.
leobet2me 29 May @ 2:02pm
cant see on road when driving man.. gotta work out the thickness
Alpha Gamer 25 May @ 12:24pm
the tree visability mod doesnt work very well, still get blinded
Brett Orsborn 22 May @ 4:10pm
Sorry my man, I could only tolerate these trees for like 5 minutes. They are so big that it just overshadowed the rest of the game. They look great. Just need to be like 25-30% smaller
RunYouCleverBoy 11 May @ 1:44am
with treeZvibility it looks awesome but problem - i cant see my character or something in the woods cause of crones
RunYouCleverBoy 11 May @ 1:21am
is it here able to decrease tree view collision( i cant see entire big zombie behind small little tree)?
Pharon 8 May @ 9:08pm
im having issues seeing in front of me alot of the time even with the transparency adjustment mod. Not sure if i did something wrong but its still quite invasive. (The problem is the tops of trees since the base of those trees are father away from the player and are not be occluded.)
otc_otc_otc 30 Apr @ 2:58pm
Why do trees near me stop me seeing in front of me? this is ridiculous, even with the transparency mod
marshmallow justice 15 Apr @ 11:49pm
I just saw that you released a transparency adjustment add-on mod to this! Amazing!
I can add it back to our server without my friends complaining about not being able to drive anymore maybe :lunar2019smilingpig:

It made SUCH a difference in immersion, like actually so amazing having it, but just driving was very awkward.
CarltoN. 14 Apr @ 3:25pm
had to unsub from this and the other shaderz mods. trees are spawning glitched into the ground and textures are flickering all over the screen.
number1millipedefan 12 Apr @ 11:33pm
is there a version of this that scales them up a little less, or also scales up the smaller trees a bit? i love the idea but the size difference in the trees now is a bit jarring
Carabáo 10 Apr @ 7:02am
The visual of the trees is very beautiful, but at the moment it's not very practical, as it's impossible to see anything at all, which is why I ended up uninstalling it. I suggest this issue be resolved by creating a more effective transparency zone, like in vanilla.
LokiPhur 31 Mar @ 12:12am
I love the core concept of this mod, but driving anywhere near trees is impossible without smashing into everything thats on the road. If you can somehow make the trees (within a certain angle of the line of sight) transparent; then your mod would be perfekt. But currently its just gonna get me killed.
KWG 30 Mar @ 6:08pm
Love this mod but the small trees are too small compared to the big ones and thats a bit annoying.
magond 30 Mar @ 9:36am
@Alree,
But I wasn't going to publish such a mod. I respect the work of others. It would be very cool if you made variations of your modification. So that people could choose which version they want to install. Thank you very much.
Alree  [author] 30 Mar @ 7:18am
@magond
Cool but you have to recalc all textures, and you cannot publish the modifications
magond 30 Mar @ 6:22am
@Alree,
I want to reduce the size. I like your decision to make the trees bigger, but I want to experiment with the size. If I take the size in your fashion as 200%, I want to make it 150%.
Alree  [author] 30 Mar @ 6:10am
@magond
Yep for some, and all offsets are calculated with this scaling
What did you want to do ?
magond 29 Mar @ 11:58pm
@Alree — scaleTexture(texture, 1.1, 1.5, offsets.x, offsets.y) ?
Titto Hokkaido 29 Mar @ 8:25pm
Great mod otherwise!
Titto Hokkaido 29 Mar @ 8:24pm
I agree with DoomSlayer; I was traveling in Echo Creek en route to Guns Unlimited and I simply could not see where I was driving and ended up crashing, as zooming in wouldn’t reveal the vehicle, I understand this may be an engine limitation but for now perhaps a bit of reduction in size?
Alree  [author] 29 Mar @ 1:38pm
@magond
Trees are upscaled 1.5x at max
You don't know how to read the script, you looked at the Offsets
JJ 29 Mar @ 1:11pm
i think 2x is fine, but it needs to be obscurable, also the red maple tree for the later fall months is bugged, the leaves are further up high than the tree top, i like the 2x times size because it feels like real trees
magond 29 Mar @ 1:11pm
@Alree, Hello! Can the trees be enlarged by 1.5 times rather than 2 times?
This?
texture:setOffsetX(offsetX - ((newWidth - oldWidth) / 2) - offsetXAdjust)
texture:setOffsetY(offsetY - ((newHeight - oldHeight) / 2) - offsetYAdjust)
DoomSlayer 29 Mar @ 9:12am
Love the mod, looks really good but it ultimately makes it more unrealistic with how much it obstructs your vision. It needs to be balanced IMO.
Butter Lord 28 Mar @ 7:49pm
The game is so much more atmospheric with this mod installed. However, the tall tree tops will obstruct your vision when you visit a house above the tree or hide car wrecks when you drive.
Pandize 27 Mar @ 4:43pm
@Alpha Gamer, TransparentTrees helps, but it isn't perfect. It's a small circle.
JJ 27 Mar @ 1:09pm
thank you, this literally changes the entire map for me
Choko 27 Mar @ 10:20am
@Alree TY for reply. Maybe as a selectable or adjustable option? I understand the point of the mod, but in my case - and I'm sure many others too - I use it because it looks so much better aesthetically!
Alpha Gamer 27 Mar @ 5:51am
is there a way for the trees to be masked by roads as some country roads make this mod very dangerous to use when you cant see the roads or potential abandoned vehicles
Alree  [author] 27 Mar @ 3:35am
@Comando
Works with all maps
Alree  [author] 27 Mar @ 3:35am
@Choko
It's possible to do somethinf but we miss the point
* Gameplay challenge: Denser tree coverage significantly reduces visibility, making survival harder—perfect for hardcore players seeking a more intense experience.
Comando 27 Mar @ 1:32am
This mod support also Lost Province? TY.
Choko 26 Mar @ 11:27pm
I absolutely love this mod, the world feels so much better since I've had it, but I couldn't help noticing that there are blind spots or areas where the dense foliage leaves you completely defenseless. I've noticed this is a feature of the mod, but I'm not sure how realistic it is. Even in a dense forest, you can still see your surroundings in real life. The mod completely nullifies the character's visibility, which I hope you'll consider addressing by adding an option to increase transparency in certain wooded areas
Pandize 26 Mar @ 11:51am
Would love to keep this mod, but our closed server group are complaining about not being able to drive safely.

Would love for a way to see around these trees on the road.

Temporary SOLUTION:
Download TransparentTrees. If you need TreeZ this will help, but it's still not enough. It doesn't reveal enough around you atm. Would love for this to be larger, but sprites are pretty limited, including the transparent radius.
Alree  [author] 12 Mar @ 5:01pm
@Abra_Willow and I made a full video driving accross kentucky without any issue
So give me logs, as this bugs didn't affect me
Abra_Willow 12 Mar @ 4:55pm
they look great, but sometimes trees grow on the road and you can drive through them.
williamasecas 11 Mar @ 10:28am
Another issue that noticed is that trees textures dont match with the actual tree´s tiles on the ground making them impossible to avoid and prevent scratches.
williamasecas 10 Mar @ 3:35pm
It is cool but the treetop of trees that are at the bottom of the screen that normally would not be visible due to the zise difference dont get banished and obstruct the view, covering the character and not letting you see what is right around you.
Kofi 9 Mar @ 6:03pm
@Elma it's part of the magic.
Elma 9 Mar @ 5:34pm
Trees texture are really nice, however mod has a lot of ghost trees or bugs. Sometimes a random ghost tree just spawn in the middle of street. :steamsad::stardrop:
Alree  [author] 9 Mar @ 9:49am
Play with it everyday, didn't have any ghost trees
So as nobody provided more informations, mods list or logs, consider it as an issue that I will never fix.
