Also if something big explode say like our TOW's or RPG's then it's pretty much like you're not wearing hearing protection
Grant 4 Nov, 2018 @ 9:20pm
@Sttdr As a Vet we don't always wear/have earmuffs. I'm, guessing you're a civ? Sometimes it can make commands harder to hear during war so a lot of soilders do NOT wear them that is why you hear a lot of using losing hearing
SπdR 5 Jun, 2018 @ 8:49am
Too loud. Sucks that people don't know that soldiers use earmuffs and headsets.

I didn't understand what you said there... You say that you don't want no other workshop mods but IMURSM (positive feedback) or that you want IMURSM plus other mods that may overwrite some of the sounds? If it is the second case... just go ahead and subscribe to them... they may or may not overwrite some of the sounds just fine. It depends on Source's almost completely random friendlyness.
Keltskiy 3 Apr, 2017 @ 11:04pm
the new IMURSM is a massive pack and it does everything but I dont want to use other stuff on the workshop instead of just IMURSM
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 3 Apr, 2017 @ 10:20pm
Just check out IMURSM guys. Seriously. This is completely outdated.
大肚剑客Reef 17 Mar, 2017 @ 9:21pm
i type snd_restart in console and press enter, but the result is error.what should i do to solve this problem?
Keltskiy 8 Mar, 2017 @ 1:23am
I was subbed to this mod in like 2015 or something?
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 1 Mar, 2017 @ 2:16pm
Also... no. No HL2 sounds here. And BF1 has absolutely nothing to do with this. This was released before that game was even thought out.
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 1 Mar, 2017 @ 2:15pm
Lol I know right. This completely sucks. I didn't delete it from the WS because... reasons. Try out my latest IMURSM sound mod. Explosions are much more realistic there. You'll like it.
Showtgunner 21 Feb, 2017 @ 2:25am
ok so "realistic sound" ? It's the fucking Half-Life 2 explosion sound combined with the Battlefield one ! It sucks !
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 15 Nov, 2016 @ 7:03am
This is an outdated soundmod. Try my new IMURSM sound mod or my 2 other RES mods.

Did you read the goddamn description? Did you realise that this mod currently has more than 12k downloads and everyone is using it just well, with no problems at all? Try to look into your sh!t and see if you didn't do anything wrong and that you are applying snd_restart on console when necessary. Hope you understand.
June 16 Jul, 2016 @ 6:56am
All this did was make the explotions have no sound at all

Porpeta Voraz  [author] 6 Jan, 2016 @ 5:04am
This was just an "enhancement" for the vanilla explosions, and this is my first explosions sound mod for Insurgency. Now I've done Realistic Explosion Sounds 2 and 3, and you can check them out.
H u n k 5 Jan, 2016 @ 12:53am
to be honest...those explosions sound even more unrealistic than the actual default ones.

Porpeta Voraz  [author] 15 Aug, 2015 @ 4:12am
Yeah, this is pretty much an upgraded version of HL2's vanilla explosions, mixing another sounds to it while adding bass. However, this is my first explosions mod... You can find more quality in my newer soundmods.
HerrSpray™ 14 Aug, 2015 @ 10:06am
Combining the HL2 explosion sound with the Insurgency explosion sound.
A commendable idea, but a bad one.
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 16 Jun, 2015 @ 9:28am
Hey Wolfhound, the RPG leaving the M136 has that sound sample, and it is taken from Project Reality mod for BF2. That sound is separate from the M136 firing sound, so I'm a bit limited on doing a largely realistic sound sample for the rocket motor. Hope you understand, thanks for the feedback!
DoraDeExploder 16 Jun, 2015 @ 6:46am
The M136 (AT4) sound when the warhead leaves the firing tube as largely unrealistic. It should sound very close to the 'fwoom' sound made by a mortar when leaving its tube.
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 8 Jun, 2015 @ 12:45am
It's my friend -Huggoogle who is using it, and I don't know what mod it is. Try to find out what it is on Workshop.

В Большом саундмоде такие взрывы уже стоят. Ни чем не отличается
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 27 Jan, 2015 @ 11:03am
Extreme Encounter, unfortunately you have to type that command in the console almost everytime you play the game. It happens with all Workshop soundmods out there. It is not my fault, it is not the developers' fault, it is Source Engine's fault. I hope you understand.
Extreme Encounter 26 Jan, 2015 @ 12:19pm
Do you have to type in that command every time you start the game?
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 16 Jan, 2015 @ 2:36pm
Pariah, you obviously didn't install it correctly. PLEASE read the ENTIRE description.
Minase 14 Jan, 2015 @ 12:28pm
Sounds the same to me.
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 19 Dec, 2014 @ 4:28pm
MistaX32, I undestand perfectly what you said. Unfortunately NWI developers didn't achieve the possibility to add two or more ambient-standard soundings (Source Engine limitation). But I like big-open battles, and their sounds. When I made this mod, I tried to make the sounds based on open camp shootouts, like you can find on FUNKER530's channel, great stuff there. So... Maybe I do a "CQB" sounding version of this mod, with indoor explosion sounds. Thanks VERY, VERY mush for the feedback, take care, mate!
[YA] MistaX32 19 Dec, 2014 @ 10:07am
I wouldn't mind this on a C4 blast but I find the sound doesn't fit a fragmentation grenade very well. Sounds like a JDAM has been dropped on the AO. This sound is also pretty quiet compared to other in-game sounds for me making it sound like a distant bomb going off. Especially considering a lot of maps have indoor CQBs going on and I find the sound seems more like an open explosion going on outside.
Even for C4 this explosion sound (the one used for the M67) seems too grand if you will.
Nice sound but I don't find it fitting for my taste. Still, good on you for bringing out this mod. I'm sure others find it an enhancement to their game. Good luck with future mods and good hunting to you.
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 19 Dec, 2014 @ 7:43am
Valeu, Pomba! Allahu Akbar!
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 10 Dec, 2014 @ 6:03pm
Yasen, I tried to make the mod as most realistic as possible, and I'm glad you like it! Thanks for the feedback, see you later on the battlefield.
L.Oblivionis 9 Dec, 2014 @ 11:30am
Delayed grenade sound weirded me out at first, but then I realized it's more realistic that way lol. Great sound mod!
Porpeta Voraz  [author] 24 Nov, 2014 @ 5:15pm
No problem!
Porkinchaps 24 Nov, 2014 @ 4:54pm
