I will fix asap.
Amainy 27 Jul @ 9:07pm
I don't think the event is supposed to be set as unique, now that you can actually postpone the quest, meaning if you ran away the first time the quest showed up, it will never happen again.
Rubber Duckie  [author] 25 Jun @ 10:16am
@alexschulzweil You know what, I absolutely agree. The stress isn't meant to be the main challenge or gimmick of the fight, so I've reduced it.
alexschulzweil 25 Jun @ 10:07am
Regular enemys are nice, but the boss is insane. the horror it generates is far to high and long ether reduce it to two targets or half the amount
Rubber Duckie  [author] 8 Jun @ 3:47am
@DerpyPanda yes, that is a visual bug. The stumble is meant to be a permanent feature of the boss fight, but unfortunately when setting it to permanent it doesn’t say in game that it is permanent for some reason.
DerpyPanda 7 Jun @ 9:02pm
Great mod! Good animations and a lot of creative work. I did wonder if the permanent "tumble" effect I had in the boss fight was on purpose or a bug. Almost got my leper killed who kept moving to the back row. It says the effect should only last 1 round but it never went away

amigooo esta re chupeteeeee:steamhappy:
Rubber Duckie  [author] 19 May @ 2:26am
No. Eventually, they will be receiving their own dungeon with additional enemies and bosses, but this mod is a one-time event.
Яндекс.Warhammer 19 May @ 2:23am
After event, will they spawn in normal regions?
Rubber Duckie  [author] 17 May @ 7:49am
Thank you for your help, Sherin! Fix has been pushed to public. Let me know if the problem persists and I will double-check if it was implemented right.
Sherin 17 May @ 4:44am
"is_started_by_event": true, vs "is_generated_by_event": true,
Rubber Duckie  [author] 17 May @ 4:31am
That is very very odd. I will look into it and see about fixing this bug, thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Rexy 17 May @ 4:27am
The event doesn't repeat, but the quest will stay around regardless until you defeat it.
Rexy 17 May @ 4:24am
Oh, it isn't? Yeah the quest stays, at least after retreating, which isn't the case for Vvulf.
Rubber Duckie  [author] 17 May @ 3:52am
It doesn’t leave? That’s not supposed to happen, it’s supposed to work like Vvulf. I’ll look into that ASAP.

When you say “doesn’t leave”, do you mean that the quest stays around or that the town event can repeat?
Rexy 16 May @ 11:47pm
Is there a patch to remove the building destruction penalty? It doesn't feel good to be forced into it when, unlike Vvulf, the circus doesn't leave.
FriendTheBarrel 9 May @ 12:05pm
Very fun, I didn't play with the old health pools so I can't compare but the enemies all feel pretty good right now
Arath 7 May @ 11:55am
yes
Rubber Duckie  [author] 5 May @ 2:50am
One time event.
最好的伙伴巴尔哥哥 5 May @ 12:34am
May I ask if this independent event will happen again in the future after I have completed it once, or if it is a one-time event?
Hostile Geometry 1 May @ 8:50am
Great artwork, great fight mechanics and gimmicks, all in all a fun and well-made mode.
odiswizard 21 Apr @ 3:05pm
amazing mod! Can't wait for more teaser and the full region mod
Rubber Duckie  [author] 17 Apr @ 1:43pm
Latest update: reduced enemy hp pool and debuff resist slightly, as per player feedback.
Archcanni 11 Apr @ 6:09pm
I did enjoy it, some parts I felt things dragged on a bit but overall nice going in blind with my strongest tealm.

That is part of the fun, learning something new.
Lusitania 1 Apr @ 9:28am
Awesome mod 10/10!!!!
Zaerrie 23 Mar @ 1:58pm
Great mod. Fights are dragging a bit long (massive health pool) with little to no danger from most enemies. Boss itself is easier than some of the fights I've encountered in there.
Bryggel 23 Mar @ 1:56pm
@what's up whats wrong? you're that bad ?
Rubber Duckie  [author] 22 Mar @ 4:59am
@What’s up that’s kind of his whole thing. He’s really just a meat shield tank with little else going on. Might actually reduce his ability damage slightly to make it more balanced…

(Ngl I should probably reduce all enemy hp pools since they’re a bit high, that being said he’s probably the only one I’ll be leaving since that’s the point of him.)
What's up 22 Mar @ 4:33am
A monster with a size of 1 has more than 100 health? Seriously?
Rubber Duckie  [author] 18 Mar @ 7:55pm
Hopefully the knowledge gleaned from the fight will make it easier next time. It’s definitely meant to be a fight your party should be built around.

That being said I might change how some of his abilities work to make them more counterable. Namely the mark-nuke and the way he handles death…
Ertymaxer 18 Mar @ 2:33pm
The Beast Tamer killed the 4 of my Level 6 Heroes in less than 9 turns

Awesome mod, 10/10 would do again :hatty:
Vulnavia Phibes 12 Mar @ 8:01pm
@Knave of Chalices No, I just had to retreat the first two times, haha.
Rubber Duckie  [author] 12 Mar @ 4:01pm
@Vulnavia Phibes thank you so much for your concise and constructive feedback! I’m curious, you mentioned multiple runs, is the quest appearing multiple times in the same playthrough?
Vulnavia Phibes 12 Mar @ 7:38am
I've made a few runs now, I really enjoy the art and animations, and I think the different creatures combine their powers in fun ways. You did a great job! :faithful_heart: However, I think their health is a little too high. :csdread: Specifically the Fortune Teller and the Acrobat, who have multiple ways of protecting themselves already, and specialize in support and burst damage, should probably be a little more fragile. I understand the goal of keeping them alive long enough to have a strong battlefield presence, :blueeye: but I think they have enough tools to protect themselves with their stealth and revive already, plus the strongmen guarding them. :vampire_ankh:
Tyrannical T.C 11 Mar @ 7:29am
The Bozo gang has moved in town
mrpower30 10 Mar @ 8:33pm
Great mod but to me it feels like most of the enemies, even the supports, feel a bit too tanky. Maybe I just haven't played enough higher level darkest dungeon but it feels like it takes a while to get even the supports down. But otherwise great mod
small fiend smacker 10 Mar @ 9:52am
great mod, but does anyone know where the immersive area background patch went? did the user who uploaded it get banned or something?
Rubber Duckie  [author] 6 Mar @ 6:54am
Я не могу понять, хвалите ли вы меня или оскорбляете. Пожалуйста, используйте менее двусмысленный язык.
Лена Тихонова 6 Mar @ 6:36am
пиздец у тебя моды....
Rubber Duckie  [author] 6 Mar @ 4:44am
The Strongman is the meat shield of the Fiend Festival. The Puppeteer is meant to be the strongest non-boss enemy. I do appreciate the feedback though, and I will take it into account moving forward.
Choccy Poo Poo Juice 5 Mar @ 7:16pm
questionable enemy balancing... why does the strongman and puppeteer just have over 100 health, kinda absurd for non boss enemies imo
Rubber Duckie  [author] 5 Mar @ 2:43pm
Oh - it's only a problem because the quest uses Wolves at the Door rules, in that you will lose some building upgrades if you ignore it. Having it spawn multiple times might inconvenience players.

I could see about creating a repeat version of the quest which doesn't punish you for ignoring it, but that would still take up a town event so I don't know if I'll do that...
MrMeeps 5 Mar @ 2:25pm
I have not experienced any issues my self, loved the quest and would not mind doing it again. I just saw some dude comment about it and did not understand why it would be a problem.
Rubber Duckie  [author] 5 Mar @ 1:41pm
I have no idea why that’s still happening. I made it so the quest and event could repeat in the test branch but could’ve sworn I switched it to one-time-only for the public release.

In any case, replaying the quest won’t hurt your save file, as far as I am aware. I’ll look into a potential fix.
MrMeeps 5 Mar @ 12:40pm
@KiltedGun Is there an issue if this event pops up more then once? I dont get it.
MrMeeps 5 Mar @ 12:39pm
This mod is absolutely amazing very glad I downloaded it, very unique enemies!
Rubber Duckie  [author] 4 Mar @ 10:24am
@dappersprite69 I’ll just tell you, it’s some party combos.
dappersprite69 4 Mar @ 6:24am
may I ask for another hint and do I need both trinkets?
Rubber Duckie  [author] 3 Mar @ 4:07pm
Not to spoiler too much, but...

Big Shambler, yes; minigun arm, no.
Powerfull 3 Mar @ 1:48pm
I hope it's the big shambler with a minigun for an arm somehow.
