but conquest seems to softlock the game after it does the charging attack, it just goes off screen

actually, after i set the chances to 100% he appeared as normal, so i think it was just terrible luck

Will this be compatible with the darker hell mod? I have both installed but the silhouettes of ultra conquest and ultra headless horseman are a different shade of dark... I love both of these mods i uninstalled beast tweaks for it

is it possible that conquest lacks boss armor? that may be the reason why it feels like he dies so fast compared to the others. unless you already found that out? i know nothing about modding so i don’t know if that can even be implemented into custom enemies.

ok just put up a patch that fixes the stuff the last few comments have mentioned (light beam visibility, charge, health buff, etc)

otherwise, ultra headless is goin real good. i'd expect it to be out within 2 weeks or so

Amazing mod! absolutely stellar spritework and attention to detail. One note though, Conquest's attack where he takes his blindfold off and rains light beams from the sky is a little too difficult to dodge. Maybe consider adding a telegraph for his eye lasers? It is nearly impossible to dodge since you don't know where the lasers will spawn until they have already hit you

Would it be possible to make it so killing ultra death gives 2 charges like every other horsemen? Currently the charges only come after Ultra Conquest
(This is all with Conquest as the 5th horsemen)

Ultra Headless update time! All of the phase 1 sprites and around half the phase 2 sprites are done (or at least to the stage where it's just more polish). Once the phase 2 sprites are done, am gonna start on animations & AI!

@NoOneElse I'd rather not, since I don't think anyone else has mentioned him dying too quickly. iirc i actually gave him MORE hp than most of the other horseman on account of being susceptible to piercing on the charging phase

ok, put out a patch that changes Vector.Zero to an arbitrary vector in case vector.zero was the issue and added an extra x coord check in case vector equality was the issue

but yeah; it being the kill transfer that's messing up makes so much sense now; THAT's why conquest is teleporting to the top-left; that's 0,0. people saying "offscreen" made me think conquest was at the actual intended location

This seems to instantly be true with rgon which then calls the kill method.

Vector.Zero == Vector.Zero w/o rgon

Vector.Zero ~= Vector.Zero w/ rgon (bug?)

Also of note, Vector.Zero ~= Vector(0,0) w/ or w/o rgon so comparing the X/Y values may be a better check.

I'm also experiencing the bug where no matter what I do to encounter it (be it natually or through the console), it instantly goes into its death animation in the top left corner of the screen.

I'm pretty sure it's a mod incompatibility, but I'm yet to learn which one

@SilverB that's intentional; the chargers take heavily reduced damage to counteract piercing tears. he CAN die during the charge; it's just hard to do without a chaos card. as for the freezing tears, that one feels like enough of an edge case to not devote time to

@sly91 oh wild; i'm guessing Repentogon modifies how sounds are played somehow? never touched it, so i'm still not 100% sure what's causing the glitch
