mod completely breaks the trooper upgrade system (you can use medals to boost attack or defence of each trooper). also mod messes up with UI, especially main menu and squad menu

This mod is effectively on life support and has been long before I brought it to 1.0.

Miller has been out of the DK2 Scene for a very very long time, Frankly speaking this is more of a preservation of the mod than an actual continuation/successor.

This mod will not be updated unless something game breaking is found whether by the game updating or otherwise.

My only purpose is to maintain the mod for the foreseeable future, my apologies to anyone seeking more from Tier One Overhaul.

The mod is good how ever. I have one simple complaint. The plate carrier models and gun models are pretty low quality. ARES models and rifle squad have detailed gear models. As someone who uses dev mode in game like many others to have cinematic replays at eye or ground level I would highly appreciate if MSF Miller adds different new detailed models for plate carriers. That's it. You can copy and paste them for different games or whatnot into this mod I don't know. How ever Miller should really try and make the mod look better visually speaking. Other than that great mod!

Because the Gas is technically just extra suppression, not actually Gas, Also the content of the Mod is what the original mod had, No more, No less

i dont know if its just me but the ranger black ops units helmet is kinda messed up with textures glitching everywhere on the helmet

I didn't do the initial stats that was Miller, I only brought the Ammo upto par with Vanilla with the Armour Piercing (x10 from pre 1.0)

Tier One should make no Changes to the Vanilla Game at all (outside of adding a couple weapons to the vanilla Squads in addition to the Mod Ones).

Realistic Sounds should work flawlessly and if it doesn't let me know and I'll investigate it.

Do you think it would be possible to give nswdg more units to deploy? Only having 8 true shooters makes campaigns pretty tough especially since the other two classes take 2 deploy slots

The Price of Equipment is exactly the same as it was before, the only exception are any weapons from Vanilla that I have added to the Tier One Squads which have not had their prices changed

Um, unless you mean a different weapon The XM7 is in the game already it's actually a new addition with 1.0, It's a Battlehonour unlock though but Both Squads should have it on their Assaulters.

Thanks for getting this mod back to 1.0!

One gun that I am a bit obsessed with is the XM7 Assaulter as reviewed by Dr Garand Thumb last year. It would be a fun addition if you get a chance for a future update :D

I told myself the world would've kept turning without a T1O port to 1.0. However, I must say, the sun shines a little bit brighter and the air smells a little bit nicer for me now that this mod is out. 😁

Not only did you manage to successfully port it, but you also made it self contained so it would be more compatible! On top of that, you're answering feedback and making fixes in a timely manner in the comment section?! What have we done to deserve such kindness lol

I think it means more to the Users of the mod when the Author tells you what they did, why they did it, and any other information that might be relevant.

Feels more like a conversation than just an appeal to authority, or at least that is my thoughts on it.

I just had a look into the original files and I missed it, the NSWDG should have them on the Support and Marksman but not for the Rangers, they also are meant to have the Mk18 too, I'll add them shortly

Okay so I double checked a couple things.

the GPNVG's are only for NSWDG except for the Operator in the Rangers.
The XM250 was referring to a non existent T1 Version.
The Supports indeed should not have the Mk17s

I changed the Price on the Mk18 to 0 to accomodate it being the Starting equipment.
The helmets are indeed meant to all be locked except for the Cap.

Uh as for the XM5 and XM7, I don't actually know, the XM5 was in Tier One long before the XM7 was in DK2 since it's a 1.0 addition.

I hope that answers your questions, I will be updating the mod shortly to fix the above points.

I can double check those for you but I do know the Squad nods only being on the Assault was on purpose, the rest I will look into, I know many of the Equipment have been left as is from the Old Tier One so needing to unlock them might be intentional

Been enjoying the two factions. Just a few comments/questions!

For Rangers;
Is there a difference between the XM5 and XM7?
Supports can access Mk17s but no other standard rifles. Intentional?
Supports don't have the vanilla XM250.
Only assaults have the quad-nods, no other ranger. Is that supposed to be the case?

For NSWDG;
They don't start with the Mk18 unlocked, so you have to rebuy if you switch to something else. Seems weird to me.
No helmets are unlocked? Have to buy even a basic helmet was a surprise.

No idea about the mod side, but using these squads was a pleasure. Thanks for the work getting them updated.

I will not be adding more Content to Tier One Overhaul, My job was to bring it to a working state for 1.0 and the bonus was to make it entirely mod compatible, meaning it doesn't touch any vanilla files and I am pretty sure I have achieved that.

If you want to make a companion mod that adds more content and adds Tier One as a dependency by all means go ahead however This is not permission to reupload the mod in any capacity, Workshop or Nexus.

It is easy to add/modify content to/in a mod without reuploading it.

@Fluffy is a very good mod, but y'knoww www. .... you can always add more guns lol. Maybe like an M45A1 that just has overall slightly better stats than the M1911 and holds 8 rounds.... just sayin... (Im a gun nerd)
