@Evo99 the thing is you can pretty much negate all of that by jumping or dodging, undyne has a lot of projectiles but not hard to dodge

My fault twin, took an L against this character and left an angry comment instead of a proper critique. The biggest problem is there's really nothing you can do against her if you're character is melee focused. And if they're ranged, it becomes a battle of spam, which is lame. I genuinely believe you should make it so the spears can be parried, because I've hit Undyne and gotten her in a combo so many times, but I'd just get hit with a spear and be forced to drop it. Even when blocked, it still does damage, as well as giving you frame disadvantage. Allowing the spears to be parried would change everything, and would be lore accurate as well cuz Frisk doesn't take damage when they block spears... I'm not even gonna touch on the insanity that's Undying... My friend gets mad when I "hold block", but there's really nothing else to do when every move connects.

@BuffShroom She does have long combo options that's why she deals low damage, if you found an infinite you are probably not using DI, also thx for the comment, about super armor, you can use fast moves to be ready before the hit (considering the super armor move is fairly slow)

@Talk Tuah Therapist the spear throw is fast but easy to dodge and can't be chained into combos most of the time, also is hard to approach her because she's meant to do that

Making undyne a zoner is such a shitty idea and concept.

Although the character concept is wonderful, in practice it is horrible to fight against. Like others have said, the frame data on her moves is down right insane, most moves come out at sub 10 frames with only three or four being above. That paired with the long reach and low knock back makes it where the user has to actively drop a combo before you get to play. A friend of mine has found than almost every attack can be chained into a touch of death, and yes this is counting for bursting. All in all, wonderful character but horribly broken. We tried Undyne on Deo, Toji, Heion, Disgraced Chef, Lorde, Ninja, and Wrath. 3 rounds each, but it seems attacks that have a form of super armor is her weakness. I hope this gets patched because Undyne is fun to play

Could probably use a tad more damage. Really amazingly fun and well made mod though, and I could be suffering from modded character powercreep.

replays with her crash my game, and when making her fight with other modded character sometimes the game doesnt start. But the one time I tried her it was maazing, just those things that makes it hard to play with her

Please for the love of god nerf her frame data, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get in because of how fast and how much range she has, spear throw needs to be nerfed as well, that shit is ANNOYINGLY fast to come out and makes approaching damn near impossible

Her 2nd mode wasn't working for me. I had 107% true hero and let my opponent go twice so he can hit me. It never popped and I died, was there something I was missing?

nvm, null issue fixed by clearing character cache. (im stewpid)

well it worked yesterday, but today, without any new additions, undyne just shows up as null and crashes the game when pressing go. ive tried with just undyne and no other mods but shes still null.

idc if it isnt strong, i'll take your entire stock. (also nice job on the animations, they look great)

Its interesting but takes forever to actually do damage. U do little damage until your in your second mode and by then its cutting too close. I can keep comboing people multiple times and it does less than an 8th of their health meanwihle they just hit u a few times and it does equal or more. This is including the offesneive ability you can do on yourself. The papyrus mode offers similar verastality and a second mode without diminshinh the characters strength in the first part. I do like everything else. The lack of a roll too is just another drawback. The animations and visuals are superb. Its just a shame the looks dont match the punch.

@Ash. no, it probably has something to do with the opponent character, maybe you overhealed and had more hp than the max hp, or maybe the online lobby had that configuration. But undyne has no damage reduction appart from the protect buff.

@LuiXee considering it was the only thing that was going down during my latest fight? either you messed up the code or thats the new hp bar, i doubt a 75 move combo deals no damage at all except determination

If the character doesn't work even deleting character cache, it's not the mod's issue, maybe it's another mod that breaks something or your game
