@Ricky you can use the X Catalog Tool (more info here [forum.egosoft.com]) to extract libraries\character_macros.xml from the mod's ext_01.cat and use that as a template for the character you want to make.
You can find the mod files in "X4 Foundations\extensions\pt_custom_f_pirate"

You can also extract the character_macros.xml files from the base game (from 08.cat) and/or dlcs (from 02.cat of each dlc) to look for all the props that the game uses.



As for the face shape, you have the tweak the numbers in <facemods> (they go from -1.0 to 1.0) untill you're happy with the results. Save the file then close and re-open the game to see the changes in-game.
