clop1000 27 Jun, 2020 @ 5:43am
Is it compatible with "Awesome" or "Codex" mods?
Buzzerker 12 Nov, 2017 @ 10:03am
Why would you make a mod that doesn't work on Single and Mulitplayer in Normal mode? That would be the starting point I would think. If you only made it for your own use , why put it on the Steam workshop? I don't get it. I tried using your mod but there is no guide so I used SweetFX instead.
daxnevo 8 Oct, 2017 @ 2:30am
Brightens up the alien landscape, thanks
QUASAR 22 Aug, 2017 @ 8:20am
Thankyou for the mod; I will give it a try.:)
Popitrekker 2 Feb, 2017 @ 10:59am
it still works for rising tides.
Aenyr 5 Jul, 2016 @ 4:17am
This mod is too old to work with Rising Tide, but another one called Biomes Redux may work
Diana Quinn 13 Feb, 2016 @ 6:18am
Does this work with Rising Tides?
HALCYON (ON AND ON) 22 Jan, 2016 @ 3:49pm
thank you for your work.
Phayntom 24 Dec, 2015 @ 12:22am
can you update this for Rising Tide?
Awful 23 Nov, 2015 @ 2:17pm
Love your mods. I'm wondering how much work it would be to create a mod that brightened up the ocean colour? I want to kill myself looking at the dull, dull ocean....
Cosmic Fox 19 Oct, 2015 @ 7:19am
Cool, the stock game graphics are very lame, you might want to toss in some water improved graphics as well. I'm sure you have thought of your own twist on it by now. ;^)
Cousken  [author] 15 Oct, 2015 @ 10:42am
@ Capt. Fox thank's for the update, i do in fact own Rising Tide, so i guess i need to update the mod :)
Cosmic Fox 15 Oct, 2015 @ 10:19am
doesnt work with Rising Tide, probably due to the new graphics they added. Well worth buying to update this great mod man. :steamhappy:
Séamus 1 Sep, 2015 @ 12:04pm
Awesome. Thanks a ton. You might consider adding that to the mod's description; I know I can't be the only achievement-oriented mod lover out there.
Cousken  [author] 1 Sep, 2015 @ 11:41am
It shouldn't but i can't promise you, i think i read about someone having save game problems. But logicaly, it just replaces some textures, should not cause any problems.
Séamus 1 Sep, 2015 @ 11:32am
Does this mod affect save games? Apologies if this has been answered before.
markuslarsson81 17 Aug, 2015 @ 9:05am
The biggest problem for me graphics-wise is the non-distinct textures, that's why this mod is very good. The original graphics is kind of blurry and hard to make out what's what.
Cousken  [author] 16 Aug, 2015 @ 1:08pm
it might be a hardware issue, or a psychological... but the default color scheme made it really had to play for me and apparently a lot of other people
Archemyre 16 Aug, 2015 @ 12:55pm
I feel like I'm the only person who actually likes the default color scheme. These kinda mods seem to go over the top with color.

Found this on the civfanatics page and it works
"Extract the zip file ... to your Assets folder here:
Code:
[path-to-Steam]\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\assets\
EDIT: [path-to-Steam] is usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\

Then you have to edit your config.ini located here:
Code:
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\
...and set LooseFilesOverridePAK = 1"
You can find the zip file on civfanatics

Yes please make a guide for Normal SP, maybe a simple youtube will be fastest?
sunny 12 Jun, 2015 @ 12:08pm
Can you please make the guide or a short How-to regarding how to make them work in MP?
please please please~?
BlackViper 15 Mar, 2015 @ 4:35am
Hello, I downloaded all three mods, but I don't know where to put them, please tell me :)
Patrul081 5 Feb, 2015 @ 1:09am
Game crashing with this mod :(
Hawkeyz 23 Jan, 2015 @ 9:49am
I subscribed to all of these and tried running them a few weeks back. When a new Civ would land my game would crash just wondering if this has been fixed or not. I know others have had this problem as well.
AaronDunn44u 20 Jan, 2015 @ 7:36am
If i download this mod, will i have any problems whilst playing multiplayer? e.i not being able to join other who don't have the mod? :AmericanReclamationCorporation:
Arkim 17 Jan, 2015 @ 5:52am
Very good job man. I had the same problem.
40 FPS 15 Jan, 2015 @ 12:52pm

Guillermo Van Helsing 5 Jan, 2015 @ 10:30am

Yourkungfuisnogood! 5 Jan, 2015 @ 6:52am
I think this is great, the terrain is so hard to determine sometimes with out the tooltip
dacha 1 Jan, 2015 @ 3:07pm
I have a real problem with the terrain in Beyond Earth so this is so useful.
Cythal 17 Dec, 2014 @ 2:31pm
Works with new patch but I disabled various other mods and is only using it with the UI clock, IGE, and UI tweaks. I really want to make this textures permanent for normal games.
Steen 13 Dec, 2014 @ 11:13am
very good mod!
Cythal 11 Dec, 2014 @ 12:47am
I would like to know how to make this load by default using the custom assets folder. with my limited knowledge, I thought I could do it by just moving the files correctly with the layout of the main assets folder but could not match the terain file names in your mod to any of the terrain files in the main assets folder. I patiently await for your guide on how to do so. Thanks for a great mod.
Sremaj 10 Dec, 2014 @ 4:00am
Anyone have success using these since the new patch? My first attempt was last night and it froze my computer when I tried.
Cousken  [author] 1 Dec, 2014 @ 10:01am
Added download link
Emperor Dao 30 Nov, 2014 @ 10:57am
are these mods compatible with other mods? (ie, alien strains, unit player color, etc)
ObsidianRook 28 Nov, 2014 @ 11:20pm
Looks great!
Whygee 25 Nov, 2014 @ 12:41pm
Firaxis please make this standard feature. Thanks.
Not the Amatoor 25 Nov, 2014 @ 8:58am
I think the 'idea' behind tiles being so hard to distinguish from one another has something to do with the whole "new planet can't tell what the hell is going on" kinda style. It still is a pain in the ass though even iff you've played a bunch.
RazerMouseNoob1885 24 Nov, 2014 @ 7:32am
Jesus are the Devs really this lazy ? A modder can do this but they can't?
Netwolf55 24 Nov, 2014 @ 4:49am
Great mod, this was one my biggest complaints about this game, the amount of time spent looking at the terrain to figure out what type it was.
Penguin Minion 23 Nov, 2014 @ 5:24pm
absulutly not promblem spoting tile difference get some glasses also moving camra 1 tile to the left dont help your statment
Lambs2Lions 23 Nov, 2014 @ 1:04pm
Nice work but all you retuxturing focuses on desert tiles / planets, what does the tarrain look like on a lush green world?
✪^2|BRo|^4FRoZtY| 23 Nov, 2014 @ 11:28am
lol
FrΛglesnorf 22 Nov, 2014 @ 4:07pm
Why even say oyu dont have a problem seeing the tiles? He obviously did and this is not the mod for you. Such a dumb post.
Fulgore 22 Nov, 2014 @ 1:03pm
I have no problem distinguishing. There's also always hovering over the tile and reading.
Cousken  [author] 22 Nov, 2014 @ 2:17am
I've never seen any marshes in Civ:BE, there are files for them however. However i have edited the tundra tiles for every biome i released so far, you can see that in the last screenshot comparison.
