you should make the container the heli i guess and add a animation that rotates it 180 so the opening end releases the combine. otheerwise tho the container should be editeted

It just sucks that it's that limited, because you think that the two models are different from each other similar to the military tank in Left 4 Dead 2 is its own model even though its purely cosmetic changes.

That is the best possible explanation. I apologise again for the disappointing news, but as I said that is how the vanilla game/map was coded. And I suck too much at blender to fix the animations.

Then someone that's either currently or was working on Dark Interval must have found a way to split the two dropships up into being their own models because I know I saw both in Hazard's latest video covering Dark Interval.

I was thinking the same thing, but it turns out the game uses the same single dropship model for every sequence. So apologies for that, but there really is no other way, maybe besides editing the map itself

So, I just had an idea that might help fix the beta dropship as I've been seeing footage of Dark Interval as of late but could it be possible to simply remove the beta model from the crashed dropship's model and leave it as the default dropship, it can't be too far of a stretch that the two models can be split from each other.

Unfortunately no, since the model was made by Eevah and has a custom skeleton and animations. And editing that is way above my abilites

Were you able to fix the beta version then because for some reason I forgot your mod with the beta dropship was the one that has that soft-lock warning on it.

Suprisingly, the sequence works properly, unless I forgot to check properly. The reason for it is that I left the original skeleton intact, since it wasn't necessary to modify it, so the EP2 animations work (although they look kinda funny)

Probably should put a soft-lock warning for the crashed dropship in ep2 because I doubt this will be able to function fully for it.
