@Goodpuffer Coalescipedes are extinct by the time of Saint’s campaign so there are no webs to be found.
Goodpuffer 27 Jun @ 2:04pm
Apolocheese if its stupid to ask but do webs sometimes still remain in silent construct?
RareFishEconomy 2 Jun @ 12:27pm
this will always be one of my fav mods, shaded was already gorgeous but this elevated it so much

RegionKit has been updated and this mod works again! If the webs are still pink on your end, then try unsubscribing from RegionKit and then resubscribing.
Codeax  [author] 29 Mar @ 5:08pm
It turns pink in particular because that is the default effect colour of the game and the one Shaded Citadel uses, but RegionKit has a feature that allows you to overwrite the effect colour with whatever colour you want.
Codeax  [author] 29 Mar @ 5:07pm
This mod relies on RegionKit to give the webs their specific colouration, but The Watcher broke RegionKit. Once RegionKit is fixed then Silk Citadel should behave as normal, but there is nothing I can do until then.

everything ingenious is simple
User Profile 28 Mar @ 6:45pm
@Hitman It's likely because the update broke the texture of the web spites, so the pink is a standin.
HITMAN 28 Mar @ 4:52pm
probably because the mod loader is broken - but watcher turns the silk pink for some reason

Warning! There's many and i mean MANY Silgsong fanatics down there. You have been warned.
bartb6 7 Mar @ 12:28am
silk? like silksong? is this evidence that silksong is tomorrow?
Codeax  [author] 5 Mar @ 11:00pm
@Helmer mods that just change connections should be fully compatible but if another mod changes anything about a room itself you will need to make sure it is applied after Silk Citadel so that it functions correctly.

*spider dance starts playing*
Miz4r 4 Mar @ 8:32am
you did it you made shaded citadel deepnest real
Helmer 4 Mar @ 4:40am
is this compatible with region-mods that connect with shaded citadel like lush mire?
SSneaky 3 Mar @ 6:57pm
if i hear another silk song joke here i will die.
the witness 3 Mar @ 6:53am
if this mod had a song it would be a silk song.
macrowave 3 Mar @ 3:44am
no no it was a joke i dont think you got the reference... now its just awkward
Codeax  [author] 2 Mar @ 10:14pm
@macrowave this mod is purely visual and contains no new songs. For custom Shaded Citadel music I recommend looking into the Shaded Citadel - Custom Threat Music mod, though I don't believe there are any that add ambient tracks.
Codeax  [author] 2 Mar @ 10:12pm
@ColdEggyBites as wild bard said, this mod is just visual. However, you may notice the occasional black speck caught in the webs!
Codeax  [author] 2 Mar @ 10:11pm
@Переплеочегароедов it indeed does. It's because the pipe being invisible isn't actually a part of the room's design and was directly edited in afterwards, so the rerender didn't hide it. I had noticed this and plan to fix it in the next update. Good eye!
i think this mod is just visual
macrowave 2 Mar @ 3:31pm
does this mod include songs as well? just wondering
ColdEggyBites 2 Mar @ 12:48pm
do webs catch small things ingame?
It seems the mod breaking pipe in citadel
in room SH_A17
that one in the middle and invisible

or its just my schizophrenia:rwspear:

Honestly, I always assumed that the fact we see no spider webs in regions with spiders is because the Spiders in Rain World are active hunters and not stationary hunters like most real world spider. Nonetheless, this is still a very cool and atmospheric mod! Makes Shaded feel more appropriately ancient and full of creepy crawlies.
Storm0267 1 Mar @ 3:27pm
thank you!
Codeax  [author] 1 Mar @ 3:02pm
I've pushed an update! I've removed webs from some of the higher and brighter rooms of the region and reduced webs in rooms that spiders aren't as common in!
Codeax  [author] 1 Mar @ 2:09pm
@Storm0267 I actually did try to account for other creaturees breaking webs by lowering the amount of webs in areas that other creatures also frequent. And don't worry, I've actually already reduced the webs in those rooms you mentioned, as I agree they are indeed a bit much. Expect an update soon!
Storm0267 1 Mar @ 2:05pm
well there def should be a few webs scattered about. but the 2nd and 4th screenshots are FAR to excessive for example. they would make more sense for the dark spider rooms that have the most infested areas... but generally. the 1st and 3rd ones are decent tho you def could cut the webs in half or even by 2\3rds and it would be fair as well. and it def would not hurt to account for lantern mice and lizards breaking the webs as well. as they obviously would damage or flat out snap webs over time. unless the spiders make webs of steel or something..
Codeax  [author] 1 Mar @ 1:32pm
@Storm0267 Fair call on the big spiders. The webs are more concentrated around coalescipedes rather than the big spiders and I did initially consider limiting it to just coalescipedes due to that same reason but I wasn't sure what people would think, so I'll consider removing webs from areas that aren't near them in the next update.
In terms of there being webs in areas with no spiders around that was to try and account for some MSC worldstates where spiders are more plentiful as I wanted to avoid messing with the region's world file if possible, at least for the first release of the mod.
Thank you for the feedback!
Storm0267 1 Mar @ 1:19pm
honestly only a few rooms have actual infestations. the others are just not as many spiders so there could def be fewer webs. especially in brighter areas.. and of course the giant spiders jump and are so big they dont need to make webs
Codeax  [author] 1 Mar @ 1:17pm
@TheLazyCowboy1 It was a careful balancing act getting the right amount of webs in each room but I decided to have a higher density in the few places really surrounded with spiders (only about 2 to 3 rooms) and I figured I should show one of those rooms few on the workshop page, which has probably made it seem like the rule rather than an exception. Though if it is indeed too much I can tone it down next update. Thanks for the feedback!
SteffanWeaverOfWorlds 1 Mar @ 11:53am
oooggghhhhh this is so cool! grisped immediately!
Kittybit 1 Mar @ 9:52am

Moistened Rat 1 Mar @ 6:38am
standout region* i am quite tired
Moistened Rat 1 Mar @ 6:37am
I agree, some rooms do look a little excessive
Nothing terrible though, i like this alot! its a good addition that gives an already standout alot more character!
TheLazyCowboy1 1 Mar @ 6:35am
Looks awesome!
(Although the pictures make it look like there's maybe too many spider webs, especially like in the second-to-last picture.)
