this is how the game should have looked originally, so glad this mod exist! 👍🏻
turkler 28 May @ 12:13pm
awesome mod

Fantastic mod.

My only suggestion would be a dithering option for the trees. Yours certainly looks better but I find it blocks out too much detail if it's overlaying the character vs the vanilla trees.

Am I doing something wrong or reading it incorrectly? It seems to work if I uncheck all the zoom options but if i actually try to use zoom it goes back to normal

how do i remove the effects of this mod exactly? i disabled and deleted the mod but the effects remain
flonzi 16 Apr @ 4:38am
The non-vivid version doesn't have comments enabled but that one is definitely my favorite, you should consider linking it on this page if possible. Either way, thanks for making these!

Damn! I though my game was running poorly in the past and I chose to remove this from my mod list. But with @4Zeta's new mod Multi-CPU Enhance giving me some extra head room, I thought I would try it again. I am so glad I did, it makes the game look so crisp! Especially KI5's vehicle models. I'm currently not having any problems with it and have 600+ mods enabled. BUT it does feel like it demands more performance from my system.

my system: 3080ti, Ryzen 7 5800x3d, ROG Strix X570-gaming, 64GB
memory settings: Xpx16gb, Xps12gb

Also experiencing crashes with shaderz_vivid on Build 42.7.
Error: OpenGL Stack Overflow (1283) in console.txt.
When: Consistently on save load, previously also after driving (assets disappear, then crash).
Fix: Disabling only shaderz_vivid resolved both loading and driving crashes, even with many other visual mods active.
Suggests a possible issue with the shader on B42.7 beyond just GPU limitations.

Please make for b41

@ClawTheDragon
It's a shader, so if you experience a crash, you have a problem with your GPU or no GPU
ClawTheDragon 30 Mar @ 8:10am
It crashes my game after a few minutes of driving around no matter the Vivid edition or normal, So i drive around then all the assets (houses and cars) dissapear and the game is not responding anymore, removing the mod fixed the issue
Bigbrainbizozo 30 Mar @ 7:01am
or just disabling it.
Bigbrainbizozo 30 Mar @ 7:00am
@Alree is there a way to remove the effects of the mod
Guyladriel 29 Mar @ 8:43am
best mod on workshop ty dude

Tried everything! Unsuscribing, deleting mod, validating files and nothing worked. This worked for me prior to March 5th update and now its no longer working. @alree, any idea?

Trees during fog were extreamly glitchy, had to start a new run :( wouldn’t recommend this right now, good idea but shaders don't agree with B42 rn

i have a question if you yantinyui in the rendom linterna como estas?
Melt for Me 7 Mar @ 3:55pm
@Quilava it does. After installing it on my old laptop my FPS tanked.

I disabled the mod, but nothing changed. How can I completely restore the original colors and trees?
rotten tooth 7 Mar @ 2:38pm
can anybody pin some screenshots with a difference between vanila and this reshade? Can't see diffeerence besides the color grading
Quilava 6 Mar @ 11:29pm
Does this mod affect performance? It sure look nice, but im worry i may lose some FPS :cta_emo4:
Alx Skoll 6 Mar @ 1:34pm
When will B41 be available? I'm already tired of the bugs in B42, with this latest update the bugs that were fixed have returned. In my opinion
mv951 6 Mar @ 1:08pm
@e2vandb worked! Thanks, man <3
LordOfLimes 6 Mar @ 12:24pm
@mv951, try resubscribing. The mod was updated 17 hours ago, and sometimes, Steam Workshop fails to automatically update installed mods. (;
Rocco 6 Mar @ 12:20pm
nice work!!
mv951 6 Mar @ 10:40am
No longer works after yesterday's update :( Love this!
cTreK421 6 Mar @ 9:48am
@Retrad_ if it works the way my personal reshade works then it is just a sharpening filter applied to the game. Maybe they inject SMAA also? Any game with blur you can use reshade to sharpen it up and add more color if wanted. Amazing tool to learn to use.
Retrad_ 6 Mar @ 5:42am
waitwaitwaitwaitwait... THIS MOD REMOVES THE B42 ANTI-ALIASING??? THERE IS A WAY???

best mod ever without any exaggeration
Bray 6 Mar @ 2:29am
@Alree It works now! Thx!
Alree  [author] 5 Mar @ 7:05pm
UPDATED
Hopefully, fixed the blur/desaturation effect in Search Mode
Bray 5 Mar @ 3:57pm
@Alree Yeap... just tested, with Shaderz the blur effect for the foraging works just fine, its only with this one that it doesnt.

capyq 5 Mar @ 9:08am
i would love if there was blur effect
xXAlamedAXx 5 Mar @ 7:31am
are you dumb? its left before and right after
AinzOG95 4 Mar @ 6:02pm
the brightness is too high
Alree  [author] 4 Mar @ 3:50pm
@Bray will check this asap, thanks for report
Bray 4 Mar @ 3:27pm
Hi, great mod, but dont know why it removes the foraging effect (the blur) and I was wondering if there's a way to keep that effect while using this mod... I think that it didnt happen with the other version Shaderz... Thx!
Dane 3 Mar @ 12:22pm
Thank you for the fix of the ugly shader for trees !
Kaoeutsu 1 Mar @ 7:11pm
I always wanted something like this, amazing!!
Alree  [author] 1 Mar @ 4:36pm
@PepperCat
Exactly, it's easier to have a separated mod.
You can unsub the other one =)
PepperCat 1 Mar @ 4:31pm
So, this is basically ShaderZ + Colors. The other is no longer required. Right?
