Hello. Even with this mod, I am not abel to get water from sinks or drink automaticly. I also fixed the "getWaterAmmount" to "getFluidAmmount" but still doesnt works of. I would be glad, if I could get a solution, because I very like the mod :)

Yeah had same problem uninstall common sense mod and reinstall. It worked after that for me.

@Ashadar I fixed Common Sense myself before the author even updated his mod, and double checked his code. It was literally 2 lines that were broken, which is now fixed. If you're still having the issue, it's a you problem.

@Ashadar you probably have to unsub and resub to Common Sense for the update to properly download. It happens sometimes when mods update

As for "Sink Clean Rags" mod:

People still use it because it allows you to conveniently wash all rags at once with the context menu, which is missing in vanilla, despite saying "obsolete" in the title.

HOWEVER, that mod is still broken since 42.4 and you need to fix it yourself. You can find people describing how to do it in the comments.

Explanation:

This mod is NOT NEEDED anymore, Common Sense was updated and works properly now.

If you still have problems with sinks, it's because of another mod that has the same problem Common Sense had. This mod WILL NOT help with that.

@Barc Nova CS has been updated to fix the issue, you have a different mod being a problem. If your instance hasn't updated, unsubscribe and resubscribe to force the update.

@Barc Nova the Obsolete comment related to Sink Cleans Rags. The mod itself has Obsolete in its name but a lot of people are still running it in their current modlist

Doesn't seem obsolete? I tried using Common Sense just 5 minutes ago and I wasn't able to drink or fill a bottle. I'll try this and see what happens.

not sure why people are saying this is obsolete for when it clearly isn't and is needed if you want to actually use sinks for more than just washing yourself this also applies to other stuff such as tubs, so no idea what these people saying this mod is obsolete are smoking

@Emily one of the recent Zomboid updates changed code on how available water was checked. The common sense mod recently fixed this, so this mod is obsolete. Other mods that interact with water sources might still need to be updated.

@skapman what do you mean, can you elaborate? what function are you talking of and what mods also have this glitch?

Obsolete; Common Sense has been updated, other mods which use the same function are still broken though.

Gotta love seeing Braven mods being broken and fixed by others.

Yes, I added your mod to my old save and errors when interacting with the sink or lake still appear
