Hopefully I can learn how to attach others too, one last time, thanks so much! :D

Thales i got the JU + DFS, thanks so much man!

PrepMosquito114,
Air drag is high in game. There is rocket fin exploit to reduce drag but it may cause infinite acceleration (if negative fin_factor value is too much) at high altitudes where drag is less.

After releasing rockets or tow aircraft my glider rapidly looses speed, is there a fix?
Thales  [author] 15 Mar @ 3:53pm
Here I made Ju52+DFS230 for you: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3445301293

Save it, because I will remove it soon.

conwhitgaming,
Move the temperature probe 1 block forward and add electric connector there.
And look at my comment below.
conwhitgaming 15 Mar @ 3:09pm
Wait I looked for the tail electric connector for the JU 52, unable to find it. please advise.
Thales  [author] 14 Mar @ 5:59pm
Jimpuffpuff,
It is easy to setup a plane for towing. It needs an Electric connector at the back, in line with center of thrust. Designate a release key or button for it and that's it.

If you want smoother execution or your tug is a small plane like Hs 126, output composite signal to that connector:

Channel1: Altitude
Channel2: Compass
Jimpuffpuff 14 Mar @ 4:39pm
are there any other plane mods that can tow this thing?
Thales  [author] 14 Mar @ 5:02am
Composite channel 1 outputs altitude, channel 2 compass.
conwhitgaming 13 Mar @ 8:03pm
How to link JU 52 and solid tow cable to the 230?
conwhitgaming 13 Mar @ 7:08pm
Oh my goodness! I tried making one of these but you did it so well! Abt to try it out, seeya on the ground!
Thales  [author] 13 Mar @ 1:10pm
Steve456,
Default position should be the correct one. There should not be repositioning required.
Steve456 13 Mar @ 12:51pm
What is the trick to attach the RATO rockets? I can't get the hardpoint attachment high enough to connect to the wing
Thales  [author] 11 Mar @ 2:16pm
Glide ratio is between 2 and 3 which is expected in Stormworks, if you keep your speed above 150 kph. Because lift produced by wings decreases sharply at lower speeds.
mmikhail 11 Mar @ 2:01pm
or i dont get enough airspeed for it and it just stalls
mmikhail 11 Mar @ 1:57pm
such a good glider but once you detach from the tow plane or rockets have run out it flops like a brick because of stormworks physics
Kingdom Line 10 Mar @ 12:43pm
ok
Thales  [author] 10 Mar @ 11:16am
Sources say ten DFS 230s and Hs 126s were used, that's also one of the reason I chose Hs 126 as tug.
Kingdom Line 10 Mar @ 11:04am
ah i think i missed that thanks
Thales  [author] 10 Mar @ 10:56am
marsouinologie101,
Yes, i mentioned that in the description as well.
Kingdom Line 10 Mar @ 9:47am
wasn't it the plane the nazis used to liberate Mussolini?
Thales  [author] 9 Mar @ 5:28pm
lisabernard,
Likely, since it has a lot of weight blocks to reflect realistic gross weight.
lisabernard 9 Mar @ 4:10pm
if it lands in the water does it sink?
Thales  [author] 9 Mar @ 1:42pm
carter.d.hutton,
It is not possible to control the tug aircraft while sitting in glider. But if glider pilot seat is empty, it will try to match direction and altitude of the tug aircraft. If there is one player, use the tug aircraft and fly to anywhere you want to release the glider and pause the game using photo mode. Then press noclip button and teleport in to glider. Since game is paused, this should be easy. Unpause the game and take control of the glider. There is release button on the left.

DO YOU NEED TWO PEOPLE
Ace of LuftWaffe 9 Mar @ 4:47am
I gave you an award :)
Ace of LuftWaffe 9 Mar @ 4:47am
Oh yeah I'm stupid, Thanks for the help.
Thales  [author] 8 Mar @ 4:49pm
See required items on the right.
Ace of LuftWaffe 8 Mar @ 4:38pm
Where can I find the tow winch?
Thales  [author] 8 Mar @ 2:11pm
Lordbubba,
Waco CG-4 is good but required tug aircraft for that is not easy.
LordHilchen 7 Mar @ 5:36pm
How, this is high quality. Nice work. Do think you could make a Waco CG-4A?
