This doesn't seem to be able to change relations with scale plate pact for some reason even though they're listed in the faction options.

@Sakata, I'll look into a better way to do the teleportation. I elected to make it menu only to begin with as I didn't like that it would teleport every time that guidance was set.

Could you find a way to make the Teleport Option a 'toggle' similar to how the other mod worked? Having to navigate the clunky menu every time is a bit of a pain. The original it would allow you to set the option 'on' then any time guidance was manually set by the player it would teleport.

Thanks for making this. I've pretty much had to remove all of the other modders' stuff cause it was breaking stuff incessantly.

One thing that bugs me about the other cheat mod is changing ship faction, is there any way when you do it that you can retain whatever orders we gave them and ONLY change the faction?
In the other mod they suddenly start patrolling the sector.

On a related note when changing station faction it would be awesome if subordinates got changed too :)

Love the idea of a mod that doesn't overly tweak the game. The reveal map feature is a bit lacking. It doesn't indicate the mining yields for each sector, even when checking the encyclopedia for it.

I also personally made a version of cheat menu for myself, specifically to remove edits to official files, like the one that extends Managers to 6 jumps instead of the default 5. Glad to see a new version that does not touch too many things.

really looking forward to this being completed. This game is wonderful, but as a OTR truck driver, time is the one irl resources that is most prcious to me, so being able to cheat without truly breaking the game would be a godsend

I keep setting my SCA faction to -25 or -24, and it resets immediately.
If I leave the menu and go back in, it's reset to the original value.

Others have worked. Tho - I think all the faction changes I've made so far are in the positive direction; setting faction higher than it currently is.

@ShadowDragonOfTheNorth, Sorry, at this stage god mode does not persist over game restarts. Every time you close the game, you need to re-enable to the god mode.
Been very busy these past few months so I've not been able to rectify this issue.

God mode doesn't work, just lost 2 ships because of it failing. First one was the one i was flying and 2nd was the ship that came to pick me up(both from my faction, with God mode enabled).

Looks like an ambitious project (I wrote a cheat menu mod for X: Rebirth but haven't found time to return to it, despite kept telling myself to over the years).

Interesting to see an alternative. Sadly the ones i need the most are granular control of god mode and ability to delete/kill selected ship or station. Fill station storages would be good to. Keep up the good work.

@Riddim I was having the same issue where I could not see the Extention Options button on the Escape Menu, I had to disable the Protected UI View in Settings > Extensions for this to show up

@Riddim If you see the screen with Mods that show if mods are 'On', you're looking at the wrong place. Load the save that you want to play, hit Esc on keyboard. You will see Options Menu. Just above the Settings options is something called Extension Options. Click on it, find Starn's Better Cheat Menu and double click on it.

Esc -> Extension Options -> Starn's Better Cheat Menu

Hi. I agree with @Mr_Cossacks.
If it is possible to change the relationships between AI factions,
it will be the most awesome.. I always like to create my own scenario.
And this mod would be a huge help.

@mr_Cossack Thanks for trying to help. But here is the issue.

I am currently in game and on Esc Pause. I see all the normal options. Including Extensions.

The Better cheat is already "ON" and active.

My Question is, how do I use the cheat menu ingame.

Thanks for trying to help but your answer did not help me. I opened the Extension ingame it did not provide me any options to open the cheat menu.

The cheat menu Helps in some cases.
For me it is :
1) Add an item of some kind. So that he doesn't hunt for hours.
2) Create a ship or Station for NPCs.
3) Diplomacy.
4) Destruction of the Station, Ship, Fleet, Sector (complete cleansing from enemies, a separate option is clean sector. That is, it removes everything and everyone in the sector except the gate.) Or simply delete traffic - delete haaks or xenons separately. (in addition to the option to destroy all enemies in the sector)
5) Finish off upgrades, modules, crew, items.
6) Docking, Teleportation to the object, to the center of the sector, To the point.
7) Copy the Station,Ship,Complex.
8) Repair and restoration of shields.
9) God mode, ships, stations, Station Complex. The Player's property.
10) Increase the experience of the crew, landing.
11) Create a standard fleet. Depending on race and faction. (I think it's better to borrow data from the game itself. How and which race and faction creates its fleet.)

I assume the yet to be implemented feature of fill station storages means build storage as well as station storage? Are there plans to include property destruction or deletion? I find myself using the delete function for stations and even ships when I want to delete a useless to me in that save faction like Vigor/Riptide etc.

@Tekrom, There's a minor bug with the dependency that stops you from right-clicking on ships where the pilot has personal inventory items. This mainly shows up when attempting to assign ships to a ship that you're the pilot of, and any ships that you set to pickup drops in an area.
This issue has apparently been fixed as part of the kuertee UI extensions mod on nexus (Which is not required for this menu).
This menu works perfectly fine without the kuertee mod.

@Mr_Cossack, I'll look into adding that functionality! For now, a less cheaty method to modify AI to AI relations is DeadAir's Scripts mod.

I noticed that this mod was updated today, but its dependent, "SirNukes Mod Support APIs" has a bunch of people in the comments saying the latest update broke it. So doesn't that mean this mod wouldn't work either for now, despite this mod being updated today?

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I must have not progressed far enough to see issues like that or have not noticed it before. I did just run into one such issue, the Barbarossa was available in the Terran shipyard. Thanks for the effort!

@Alastria, Common consensus between mod devs is that iseeu's cheat menu touches some things that don't make sense and break many things in the background. One such broken thing is the availability of the research honshu being available to all factions. My goal is to get the majority of cheat features implimented in a way that won't effect anything outside of it's intended effect.

Since this will not be using the conversational radial menu for the cheats - How is this one activated?
