I am currently tryiing to finnish this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=346259678 [url] I may try importing heightmaps from other games after im done. So far all thats left is structures such as tunnels, a few small buildings, and some areaportaled("lag free") building rooms.

Too much displacements can put off the physics engine. I guess it works well enough for something like this, though.

Go ahead and decompile, I may post a guide, as even the free version of wm supports resolutions that are too big for the source engine. The height map used is only 256x256.

wonderfull displacement generation, do you mind if i play around with it? and if you dont i would love it if you would send me a vmf format so i dont need to go though the trouble of decompiling.

This map has real potential to be a great vehicle combat arena. Some of the hills and grades are a little steep, but most of the map is navigable. Some scattered trees and rocks to break up the visuals would be very nice, maybe some light fog as well. With a little development, this could be a real winner.

There is a program called dispgen that converts heightmaps to vmf files.
