@isaiahmarville37: If my mod is turned off though, then that crash is not related to the mod.
Sadly, Mount and Blade doesn't really inform you what caused the crash without running it with real programmers' debugging tools. So your only option to figure out what mod does this is to deactivate all and turn them on one by one.

i turned you mod off hen first but still crash
riinagaja  [author] 12 Apr @ 1:34am
@isaiahmarville37: Then it is likely not compatible with Bannercraft.

the mod cause me to crash on start up

@isaiahmarville37: Technically yes, but there already is such a mod, called Bannercraft. It is very likely to be incompatible with my mod though, so you got to decide if it doesn't work.

is it possible to also add a way to make all types of armor

@DeLaCroix: Thank you. I just updated the mod to use MCMenu for all the options now. It adds a dependency, but everything is much easier this way.

Thank you for replying riinagaja! you are the goat!

@SoakieCat: Fair point actually. Especially the attribute points are kind of rare in the vanilla game.

I mean smithing tree does give you some focus points and stuff back if you pick them, I always go smithing
riinagaja  [author] 17 Mar @ 7:43am
@SoakieCat: That is true, but at some point you don't need money anymore, and then you wish you'd rather have a stronger combat hero. Old smithing was able to do both, - give money and also provide unique combat bonuses in form of specialized weapons.
It still does it a little bit through those +2% damage perks, but that alone is not worth the 5 levels.

Smithing in vanilla is the best money maker and worth all the focus points
riinagaja  [author] 16 Mar @ 1:29am
@Skyler: Aside from a no-quality common one, there are now 5 quality grades, poor, inferior, fine, masterwork and legendary. Depending on the type of weapon crafted, the bonuses you get are static. For example, every legendary sword will just have +7 to both damage stats and +3 to all three speed stats.
A rather boring and predictable system. Also makes the smithing skill obsolete in my opinion, since you can find or buy items of these qualities in the game naturally. That means smithing in curren vanilla is only for customization and maybe some money making. None of which seems really worth the focus points.

I have not played Bannerlord in a while; is smithing not random? How does it work now?

@DeLaCroix: (First of, great name :) The folder with the file is in steamapps\workshop\content\[ID of the game]
I always copy all my mods from there over to the game's module folder, (you can rename the numbered head folder after) because otherwise Steam Workshop might redownload files and overwrite your edits. I guess I should look into transferring all options to a MC menu.

@ Muffet: I know, but it isn't realistically possible, because focus points + attribute points + overskill range define a softcap limit of about ~330. That is why I made a mod that lifts the hardcap level limit from 63, give attribute points per level (but at half effect), and smooth the exponential XP cost for levels.(vanilla has player softcap at latest level 40, but I had games with level 100+)
There were more things to do once expanding the intended reach of the game too.

Not sure how useful the information is, but skills have a hardcap of 1023, so your mod that allows up to 1000 should cause absolutely no issues at all.

Hey! Been looking for this mod for ages! I loved the old smithing system! Thanks a lot!

PS: Where can I find the xml file? (searched in steam-steamapps etc fr the config.xml to edit the attributes to give out more but I cant find it
