organ incubator? they are called prisoner.

Why the design choice of RGB lighting having incubators?
Sera 24 May @ 11:18pm
uhhh. Ok fun fact. If you raid a faction and they have a crop farm there is a chance they are just growing organs in the dirt. I attacked one that was growing hearts. I took a screenshot but no idea how to share it

@GeekyRaptorStudios Sounds like a valid request. Greetings from the rim.

could you add brains? I'd love brains added.

I know, I'm weird... :3

@Azzakal If you aren't tribal it's a little more research than growth vats (Which are for growing entire humans). And about the bobbing thing- it's just a neat visual effect

Mankind has been researching ways to grow organs for hundreds of years, and you have a study that only costs 750. I think that's unfair, at least 5000 points should be worth it. And why do you have them dancing in jars?

I am SO using this for my amoral Android Army colony.
They don't care about the feewings of flesh-sacks.
Only the efficiency of their research / military - industrial complex.
The Propagation and Evolution of the Machine Legion is the Primary Directive.
All other directives - rescinded. If the meat-bags want to ally with us, fine.
If they do not, also fine.

@Sera
The mod RT Solar Flare Shield should keep you safe. Make sure you have lots of power generation and batteries, it EATS power like no tomorrow when it's actively blocking a solar flare.
Keep it in an open space with a roof over it, as it also generates TONS of heat.

I like the cut of your jib.
You're not a barbaric primitive like Tuco. You're a calculating villain, like Walter White.
The worst, and most interesting evil, is that perpetrated by the smart Machiavellians.

Now this is interesting...

I hope I am able to help. I love testing out mods and seeing all the fun stuff and love watching mod makers get big. sorry this didn't fit on the other.

good to know and im glad it's not a off dead but you got to look at base game issues to. Solar flair will knock out the power for up to a weak. ZZTT events cause more damage based on power use and storage. All around it's a good idea but it needs power and fuel that sure breaks thermodynamics like a cow does but as another person pointed out just cut into the people that raid you every 5 days. it's not a morality thing as you got to slice them open anyway to get the items to build it. So i'm putting in more work to get less overall gain. Or i can tie up a vampire and cut out anything I want to sell and let it regrow using his genes to mass a lot of doners.

Just feels much. Why would I sell organs when i can mulch the people and sell easy to carry meals that everyone buys for a good price allowing me to get all the silver i need.
SilkCircuit  [author] 12 Mar @ 11:03pm
@UncleRippu Short-term thinking, my dude. Let's break it down:

1 organ = ~2 years of fuel (120 days).
In that time, you can grow either:
- 4 Hearts
- 4 Livers
- 6 Kidneys
- 5 Lungs

So for every 1 organ you burn, you get 4-6 new ones. Even if you're unlucky in harvesting, you're still coming out ahead.

Selling one organ upfront might get you $900-1200 silver total. But growing them? That’s profit every 19-28 days if you can math—and it never stops.

You're thinking like a petty drug dealer. This is organ farming.

@Sera I see where you're coming from, but just to clarify—organs don’t perish instantly when power is lost. It works the same way as hydroponics: if power goes out, the organ will slowly decay over time, giving you a chance to restore power before it’s lost. If the issue is fuel running out, the organ simply stops growing but remains intact, letting you resume its use once refueled. The fuel being limited to body parts was a design choice to keep it thematically distinct from general biomass burning but allow for bioprinting organs if the player plans correctly. Always appreciate your feedback! Thanks for trying it out.
UncleRippu 12 Mar @ 10:34pm
if it requires organs as fuel, then you'll have to cut open people for organs anyways, which you could just... sell. its not a resource to output positive system from the looks of it.
Anta'el Feir 12 Mar @ 10:14pm
Since when did lobotomized prisoners with regeneration, who by a lucky coincidence are also onachols and incubators for growing new settlers, become irrelevant? This is Rimworld, but what about war crimes?_)
Sera 12 Mar @ 9:48pm
this seems useful and very situational. Use parts in the build understandable. Part dies without power harsh but fair. Requires organic fuel makes sense my base is 90% paste anyway one more wont kill me. Bodyparts is the only fuel it uses. Ok well now the other 2 limiters just seem a bit much. cryptopods exist and last without power. and we can build them. Why can't i integrate that into it so if we lose power it goes into stasis. or the fuel last less time but any organic fuel will do.
