Solution: one crank, four small gearboxes set to 1:1 and a small generator. Produces 2 swatts. Not enough to move the boat anywhere, but it'll keep the lights running with a few moments of cranking every so often.
I'm connecting the nav lights, forward spotlights, and map screen to hotkeys on the helm because I will want to be able to use them without the engine running. Also adding dials for speed and battery charge because, again, I need to keep track of them without the engine running.
Still would appreciate any advice you could give about the jib. All but one of my sailing hours were in a single-sail dinghy. And most of them were almost thirty years ago.

See this video I put together how to sail with it!
Do you have any tips on using the jib? I only tried playing with one once in real life, it didn't seem to do much (or I couldn't seem to do much with it.) In the game, it seems like it pushes the bow around so much, it's only useful very briefly when I need a little push to steer. And if I use it too much and start going backwards, I can't get it going forwards again without using the engine. :P
are you sailman? ))))
@jactical nuke I will do my best!
@TOOL MAN FPV :) Yay! I wanted to make it fun to operate!
