I'll have to take a look :D My tweaks on this design are just about done. Massively missile heavy now. 12 VLS long range 8 block missiles, 12 4 block AA missiles, both of those are where the original missile system was. Foward of that, are the pair of freaking enormous 10 rack, 11 block anti-ship missiles, long range, heavy damage, 20 of them in a single volley. 44 missiles in all. Also worked some shielding in to cover the spots the AI likes to fire at, has greatly increased survivability.

As for the lasers, aside from armoring around it, haven't touched, didn't need to. Turret cannon is also untouched, works fine as is :) Top speed in play looks to have settled around 20m/s, around the same while out of play, thanks to even more jets.

Sounds like you really improved on it. I've uploaded the evolution of this ship, called the Mega Triton. It has more room for improvements, and it's a better design from the start. I'm curious to see what you'd do with that one lol ;-)

Anti-Missile System. As for my tweaks, I'm still messing with it. Wound up completely redoing the missiles, they're far more capable now, but back end is a good deal heavier. When idle, back sits just below the surface, but with an extra pair of big jets, once it gets going, it rises up and skims across the surface at 22m/s. Haven't yet touched the AI, doesn't quite seem to know what to do with the ship now.

Absolutely love it, though I've customized it in my own campaign. Filled much of the side hulls with engines, total power is a bit over 24k now, power left over even while lasers are going all out, added some shielding to a few critical locations, and improved the AMS. Speed while in play hasn't changed, down to 16m/s while map moving out of play, but still plenty fast enough to blaze past enemy fleets to strike deep inside hostile waters.
