Additional note: Most of the techs does not have a fixed energy consumption rate, for example Homing Sphere will be almost always exactly 8 strikes you can do, no matter how much or how LESS energy you have (Not always though, as they still have minimum consumption rate cap, so if your energy is too low that it can't even sustain with the minimum consumption rate it allows, then it's going to give you less strikes.)
If you have suggestion about changing the energy mechanic here, feel free to tell me about it as it's not final
The homing sphere camera change also needs the sword for technical reasons (only way to control camera in starbound is by items, cannot be done by techs)
Other than that, well energy beam is the only ability that can be done by the katana alone
