I'm glad you enjoyed it! I plan on making a comeback to VTOL soon, make some updates to the map, and work on some more missions on main land Ukraine!

Hey Jay, Thank you so much for the feedback after running the mission a few times!

Heard you and others feedback loud and clear, and I have made some pretty extensive changes to reduce the initial phase of the enemy fighters feeling overwhelming. Increased respawn delay, changed aircraft to ASF-30’s, and Reduced number of fighters, spread out additional spawns. I have also added recommended loadouts for every aircraft to make them ideal for the scenario

I have also added more required objectives for AV-42s and AH-94s.

so ive played this mission through twice now.

It feels to me like the initial phase of fighter waves is just too much. even with a decent squad running CAP properly, by the time you kill all the fighters you're out of missiles and need to RTB to re-arm. in the time it takes you to re-arm the next wave of fighters is already back and killing your strike aircraft. The only way i found to do it was to eject after killing the fighters and then yuo can get back into the next wave quicker.

Once you finally get the first objective captures the difficulty curve drops off massively, in an F45 with AGM145s it just turns into a bit of a point and click affair

also when we did the Kestrel pickup objective there werent any threats and so it was a bit easy, would be nice to have some sort of threat that means you need wingmen to protect the kestrels to make it a bit more interesting,

Correct
snailionaire 20 Mar @ 6:52pm
so less detectable than normal?
JoshOWap  [author] 20 Mar @ 6:51pm
I am not sure snailionaire but these AV-42s are more "resistant"
snailionaire 20 Mar @ 6:44pm
aint the normal av-42 also resistant to being pick up on radar? like it as detectable as the f45? from some angles
JoshOWap  [author] 20 Mar @ 6:42pm
Stealth AV-42 is resistant to being picked up on radar and targeted by MAD-4s and enemy aircraft
Hammer 19 Mar @ 1:33pm
what does "stealth AV-42" mean??
