Rechecked. Didn't see such effect. But realized that the atmosphere temperature is wrong. Corrected. Now such effect will be present. It happens because X(Pollutant) in the atmosphere condenses/evaporates and at the same time the temperature changes. Temperature at night is still not the same as in the original mod, but I don't know how to fix it.

Currently on Mercury, with the sun up its -47 C and dropping... Must be wrong right?

Thank you for your response. The problem turned out to be me running the Stationeers beta branch though.

After the latest update (current game version) the core shold be first (top).
ShamblerDK 18 Jun @ 4:28am
Whenever I try to load any of the worlds, I immediately get an error "A:EN:-<some long number>" with an exit button, which takes me back to the menu. Core is at the very bottom of my load order.

Texture for Mars on Phobos - Calypso with changed colors to orange/red/brown. If you have or can make a real texture of Mars - post it and I will add it to the mod.
*Don't ask: WTF! what's going on with Neptune on Triton?
- It's fine! Possible in reality Neptune not drawing "infinity" in Triton's sky, but it's a game, so why not?
(Yes, i gave up on doing tidal lock on Triton by Neptune and left this option)

<WorldRayleighExtinctionFactor> definitely works, I'll try to fix all the moons but it'll take time...
I've already spent a few days on this :(, not full days, of course. But now I understand what and where needs to be edited, approximately

Actually it fixes it for everyone. Some planets are Io are weidly situated so needs some orbit adjustment (I can see the pole and stitched polygons) but nontheless useful.

<WorldRayleighExtinctionFactor> Seems to be the source of the issue for Europa
I have changed it to vanilla value of 0.9 and now Jupiter is seen from the planet

Any chance you could also repair the backgrounds for those?
[/quote]
I tried. I copied the parameters from vanilla planets and changed them accordingly for each moon, also for dwarf planets (no parent planet - no problem). In debug mode, they are all present in the sky. But even for Europa (with vanilla settings for celestials body) Jupiter (the parent planet) is not visible in the sky. Why? Only the devs know. Maybe i'm missing something, maybe need to change other settings (atmosphere transparency?). The main goal for me is to restore possibility to play. All the rest - as is.

Thank you for repairing the planets
Any chance you could also repair the backgrounds for those? All moons dont have their parent planet in the skybox (even Europa)

I was trying to find a world that would do a bunch of different stuff than what is currently out on steam. I was hopping to find one that ran under either BePinEx or Stationeers-Mods as those mods seem to work better and are more versatile than normal steam mods.

In the current version geothermal vents are disabled (except for visual effects). In the old version it produce volatiles.
An ash storm on Io should start after (on) 3 days and every 3..7 days. I also didn't see any weather event on the 1-st day (except rain) or even the first week.
The only idea i have of how this happens is by playing on other save before and possible at the moment when the storm start, but i'm not sure. How to fight with this? Easy. Restart the game! Anyway, the weather in Stationeers definitely broken, it doesn't work according to the settings in the config files. But i don't care about that. Otherwise, some of the repaired worlds will be unplayable (EPIC from ExoPlanets as example, storm every day and start on 1-st day).

Are the geothermal vents on Io relying on something that was removed? I'm not getting any output from them, even in a sealed room or anything. Is it just bugged (an Ash storm starts as soon as you land, consistently too), or am I just missing something I'm supposed to put onto it?

Thanks for the "guide" It helps a lot. It's easier to understand than what I have found so far.

I figured out that bepinex doesn't work on my system at all....

I also can't figure out how to make planets....

Can you make a weird planet for me (and others to try)?

Constant: atmo gas mix has all available gases with pollutants at 3% and o2 at 7% and rest a random mix.

Seasonal / day/night settings:
Summer (closest to sun) day hottest temp of 35C (308K) atmo pressure around 250kps.
Winter (furthest from sun) night coldest temp -200C (73K) atmo pressure around 15kps (or lower).

All storm types available and random (obviously dependent on temp/season like dust storm during summer and blizzard during winter and rain, etc during spring/fall or temp dependent).

Example: when hot you can't use heat making power generators like sterling engine indoors but when cold (further from sun) you can't use solar (same for storms). This makes it so you are forced to use all types of power generation during different times.

I don't use bepinex and don't plan to.
jarhead 31 Mar @ 5:35am
Any idea about the bepinex/stationeers mods being changed as well?
4yDo  [author] 29 Mar @ 1:05pm
This error happens if the mod was above the core. Move it below and restart. The latest update (2025 Mar) changed this.

prefab seedbag_ not valid is showing while this is active
Fused 25 Mar @ 7:45am
Sweet, I'll have to give it a go later. Thanks!

My bad. Fixed.
Fused 23 Mar @ 1:15pm
Not sure how you're supposed to even weld anything on VenusTerra. The emergency welders don't work when you try to weld the frame.
