I liked the non-linear path of the map. Was a fun mission to run.

I quite liked it! It was quite fun! With it was a bit simple, simple isn't bad, and I liked a lot of the little details that were scattered around the map that helped make it feel a bit more lived in, like the crashed car by the bridge.

Also, it appears leaving the map crashes the game. Likely because it can't load this file.

Getting this message in the console:

Scene 'scenes\outland_11\mag_ladderhatch_nag_01.vcd' missing!

This map is failing to load stock Episode 2 scenes. This is softlocking the map! Without this file, Magnusson will not move away, preventing the player from leaving the first room.

Make sure you have set this map to load in EP2, and are pointing to a vcd in your logic_choreographed_scene that even exists!

It was cool! I liked the idea that I could choose which of the three locations to go to first. And it's great that each segment is divided into zombies/antlions/combines, it maintains variety and doesn't let you get bored:steamthumbsup::headcrab:

one of my favouritees so far off the workshop! iv never played a seemingly non-linear map like this before and the closest example to something like is only from the finale of episode 2, its executed really well and i really dont have anything negative to say, must try!!!

Super cool level, very rare for a HL2 map to have this much openness and pull it off.
I wish you could kite enemies into having a turf war by luring them to each others bases though.

очень крутая карта с даже небольшим открытым миром, то есть эти аванпосты можно посещать в каком угодно порядке, еще по карте разбросаны маленькие укрытия, где можно отдохнуть, пополнить припасы и свериться с картой. 10 из 10

This is quite possibly the best campaign I have played yet. Absolutely fantastic, good sense of freedom while still being coherent.

enjoyed the situation-accordant weapon handouts, fun touch. overall, the only thing holding back the map is difficulty--ai pathfinding was struggling really hard to keep up with me especially at the antlion area. the brute kept hiding in the garage-type building for some reason and circling around improperly.
overall, i enjoyed the map although i wish it were a bit more difficult at times. don't be afraid to destroy buildings, walls, etc. as fights progress to remove cover and open more routes of opportunity for things like the hunters (taking notes from the base game). everything else you've pretty much hammered down

Good map! I always like more open world esc missions in games and I really liked how each area had its own enemies. I enjoyed the visuals of shell shocked more but I think that is just because I am growing tired off the half life 2 trees.

The big takeaway I got from this map is: don't break supply crates unless you actually need them

My criticism is there should be more medkits at the end when fighting the gunship. Other than that, fun map! I like how you can choose which base to attack first, and how each one has a different enemy encounter!
