I am in love with this mission:thestar: The German AI's leaping assaults one after another feel textbook and well researched. Playing this mission with the goal of seeing it through in one life is truly the way to go. My current best score is 0 respawns - 80 Reds bagged for just 16 casualties - I'll surely get a promotion for that!

4/9/25 Update - Fully updated scripts to the ones tested mostly on Barbarossa (all of them outlined in the description.)

Each mission runs its own ai behavior script at the moment. They are similar but slightly different. Haven't decided which way I want to go yet.

Just played this one as soviets, it was pretty sick. Really cool to see units in this game actually using basic tactics

@TheBananaBox Glad you enjoyed it. It's very much still a WIP. That said, I may add some more tweaks here and there. Was trying to find that balance between sitting around doing nothing when ordered on a move command and immediately running towards the command.

Really enjoyed the mission, and though it's a bit hard to tell, it felt like the AI script had a big impact. It seemed like a good balance between the AI valuing its life without dragging its feet and not advancing at all (looking at you, Arma 3 AI).

@jptenn they should be in the workshop folder which is located in the steam directory, on the drive you installed easy red 2.

I looked around in Create Mission, Edit Map, Started Brody mission, checked Steam folders and have not found the scripts to grab them.
May I ask for a clue how to find them?

New update features a global script that attempts to make the AI globally approach situations with more caution and hopefully a little slower. Might be removed depending on the feedback.

Persistent global scripts work but the performance cost might be too great. The time progression may be too costly. May implement on next update and let you guys decide.

A few balance changes made as well as a few more scripted additions added since yesterday. Also changed out the COD2 propaganda broadcast with a Russian speaking one to be more authentic.

Added a few more scripts like simulated explosions at the beginning of phases to simulate artillery strikes. I have time progression complete but I am unable to figure out how to continuously run it from phase to phase. Works great on phase 1 and is very cool, but stops once phase 1 is complete. Might implement that soon if I can get it.

Very cool! I did notice that the Soviets are named the "Wehrmacht" though.

I absolutely love the use of the scripting tool to make the AI take cover in places where the point isn't.

As for performance, I didn't feel any bad drops. I did get a new pc not that long ago, so that'll add to it.

Axis and Allies Headgear Mod will be removed shortly with an update. A carry over from previous missions that I did not mean to include. Cool mod, but the helmets look funny on the new models.
