Map Mod Manager
We're currently working off of the Unofficial mapping tools as there haven't been official B42 ones released yet. I'll take a look when I can but no promises, we will be 'under construction' until the official tools come out.
@SirBritish Spoilers for Bunker Location It's located on an island on the lake. It shows up as a building on the map ;)
@Avery The bar is located just west of the country club.
I just patched in lighting and lamps for the Manor, as well as proper outdoors paths and improved roof climbing for it.
That room on the second floor is intentionally blocked, you can find a way in (try dropping from the windows above) you can enter it. There is also one other semi-hidden room on that floor.
Gore - No foraging yet, still learning how that one works with B42. Once I figure out foraging I'll be adding it to my other map as well.
Mobkiller - Thanks for reporting those lights! I also finished up the Gas Station bathroom. Maybe the last missing lights.
Lilissay - Appreciate you testing, the furniture facing the wrong way is a puzzling report. I haven't seen that myself, but I'll listen for second reports. Frogs aren't found everywhere, it's about 20% of garages and 30% of cellars. However in those locations, counters and shelves are 100% replaced with frogs.
There still are plenty of un-frogged garages and sheds, as well as a tool store at the mall to provide plenty of hardware. In my view, the frogs make the balance easier on the player, as they are a source of food.
also I spawned in an 8 story high building next to a basketball court and the building had half the furniture facing the wrong way
I sadly won't be playing on the map anymore but I'll be back to check on your progress ! good luck and thanks for the mod !
I'm glad you see the resemblance to old PZ! I tried to make it look like something authentic in the game. When I was placing things, I tried to be generous with the plot sizes, because Kentucky is a fairly spacious place to live. I also imagined that certain homes were "old residents" and others were "new residents", arriving as the town developed in certain stages. The old cabins which I've added, I imagine as the original settlers.
I've moved the mod from Alpha to Beta, as most things are complete now. There should be lighting in 95% of buildings, and if you see anything odd please do leave a comment here letting me know. I'll also be still testing and adding a few more things (Foraging). My plans next are to support Frogtown, and do a smaller, 1x1 cell project next.
I hope you all enjoy surviving in Frogtown.
You definitely need to make more fun town mods like, some in Hog Wallow Forest would be nice since its so empty. Keep it up.
- Added street lines / parking spot lines
- Added a Flier! There's a conspiracy linking the local Frog infestations to army activity. Can be found anywhere in Knox County, and reveals the Frogtown map.
- Added a few secrets
- Some fixes to missing lighting, graphical bugs, etc.
