The removal of the game rule is purposeful and will remain the case for now. All emblems are still available in the customizer if you want to manually replace any CoA.
So why the change?
The optional CoA has been difficult to code, particularly clunky in terms of all the personal arms that have to match their progenitors. It gets into muddy territory like changing the History files, i.e the folder where historical characters are stored, which is frequently changed in base mod patches. It causes a lot of issues. I've been solving each one with a bandaid, working through obscure bits of code, but it's not time efficient.
So for now I am staking out a middle way with focus on lore accuracy as well as aesthetics. Most AGOT+ arms are cut out entirely, leaving a select few that are edited to my standard and implemented. If people miss any CoA in particular they're free to let me know!
A Game of Thrones, AGOT Submod Core, Legacy Of The Dragon, AGOT+, and AGOt Sundry
@Caudillo87 By texture, do you mean the CoA? The use of the show-sigil is intentional, since it's part of the Sundry CoA for Westeros, which can be activated in the game rules. I would have it dynamically change between the two versions depending on the chosen game rule, but so far I haven't been able to figure out how. If you mean that the armour itself is glitching, can you show a screenshot?
@PhoenixOfKaos I think it was the one called AGOT Bookmarked
@Tureno I think the AGOT Pirates section has a blood drop pattern you can use. As for the Trident thing, I've considered it and leaning towards making that change! Thanks for the suggestion
Also, this may be a lore question but could be relative to the mod since you edit culture names. But should the title name for Lord Paramount of the Riverlands be LP/King of the Trident instead of the Riverlands? I can always just change this manually in game which is zero problem but figured I'd ask your thoughts on making the subtle change if you thought it was worth while.
@Cercio Thanks so much! I do my best to make each one feel like it has a history behind it, or belongs in the world
