Also the lack of high quality photos can be a problem, for example a large number of the original photos of the Delta members are low quality and would be very blurry to use as avatars, but using the software to convert to an AI style would instead result in better quality avatars.

ah, makes sense. Would appreciate if they got some photo or default ones though as seeing pictures of what is clearly the same guy being generated from different angles is very distracting to me. I appreciate the great work though! :steamthumbsup:

Because these squads have only ever made AI avatars, never photo avatars.

However I did notice that the mod doesn't seem to affect the retro seals, Gothic Serpent and 'nam seals.

IMO the AI-filtered ones look more out of place then the photographs. They clearly stick out as not being drawn in the same style as the originals but at the same time have very unsettling angles and expressions due to the algorithm being rather flawed. I appreciate the patch very much.
