i installed this mod just because i lost 4 people trying to remove ballast flora in campaign mode, even the captain.

your pumps could get infected only if you pumping the water in while you inside the spore cloud
so, skill issue

Honestly I am at only around 50% difficulty and I am getting ballast flora's every 2 missions on average, that is too often xd, I wouldnt mind it if it was rarer to happen

I downloaded this mod, but I had to swim to the outpost and save it to turn it on. I saw that shit on the radar again and went to check the ballast. At first, I saw an ungrown flora and tried to burn it, but it did not react. then it grew sharply, blocking the hatch and the water filled the entire ballast. Revenge from Flora?

Does this effect Achievements?

I build systems designed to assist you in battling ballast flora, if you need to, you may borrow my ships, I like to put incinerators over top of the ballast tanks roofs over the pumps. Makes life alot easier. Neat mod though, fascinating changes you have made. Permission to use your mod to increase ballast flora spawn rate?

I still have a trauma of my first and only sight of this ballast flora. Its the worst thing I ever saw in a video game. Fucking disgusting shit. I dont get it why devs dont fix this just for people with this phobia. Just do a damn setting.

@smoka-cola 2 regular grenades should also work as long as they are on top of the pump, beyond that you can clean the walls with a welding torch, or it will die off slowly on it's own (very slowly)

@smoka-cola my favorite method is throw an incendium grenade in and close the door
