The updated nature part looks beutiful, actually looks like Eastern Europe, with Steppes and Pine trees. Great map Retto

status update: i fixed issues with how bots ram into every object on vehicles, but i cant upload it now. there is another basically random issue appeared. if you are interested: i just updated RF tools, and i dont know when it happened, but i look at map and one of terrain chunks dissappears, its data is missing. and i just found out this chunk had "backup terrain data" script probably all the time, and only this chunk have it. in the description of the script it is said it set for exampleScene' terrain by default and it is served for saving the terrain for exampleScene from rewriting when updating. exampleScene is a scene i started from, changing it into my map. and so i guess i havent noticed that script, and after update it rewrited some bs i dont know. i checked all the terrain data assets i have but there is no deleted chunk so i guess i have to recreate it next week:demoticon:

it seems i found the problem. i forgot to change flag owners and there was just blue flags. error message i was getting while sanity checking the map was like "teams must be owners of at least one spawn point", i thought i have blue and red flags already and i started to seek spawnpoints and its scripts in rf tools to fix it somehow lol. uploading map now. thank you!:RCHeart:

Maybe u can press the PageUp key to check whether there is some error during testing the map in ravenfield. Also check the console log for any possible tint. Models, textures, animations or other assets may contain some faults which can lead to errors in game (the game can't load it correctly). This could also be a reason for long time of black screen.

@Nikawlos thank you for enormous patience bro! And i didn't know this before. Yeah it can be without nav-mesh since I scanned it but exported the map again before uploading. Oh no...

In-game editor will handle this problem automatically. But in unity u have to pay attention to this. I have seen many maps with small file size take hundreds of years to load, while even those large and detailed maps in my unity projects only need several seconds of black screen to get ready. lol.
Anyway, try my suggestion and I think the loading time should probably be much shorter. :)

Suffered from long time of black screen. Make sure that u export the map file again after scanning the pathfinding. The generated navmesh is NOT packed into map file after a single scanning. Long time of black screen is usually caused by lack of navmesh (the game will scan the pathfinding when u start the map).

weekly update: i made some houses. now only terrain and texture painting. when loading the map, there is a black screen, and it loads friccin eternity. i hope i will find a way to fix it

@Dexstar possibly no cuz its the same tens of hours to redo. As I know, there are no ways of just porting In-game editor maps to unity editor maps or vice versa

Блин, тоже в Юнити потихоньку пытаюсь. Пока первые попытки вызывали у меня истерику и отчаяние. Меня особенно беспокоила проблема со слишком сильным отражением поверхности. Она у меня блестела как отполированная тачка, что сильно искажало картинку. Удачи тебе, и удачи мне тоже. Гляди, может скоро вообще только в Юнити и в Блендере будем копаться :D
