Thank you! Of course, of course I will credit you as the author! And yes, I was going to adjust the texture resolution to the original resolution, carefully increase the detail and optimize the weight of the textures ☺️

@maceleet
Sure, go ahead. Just take into account the textures here are all 4x the size of vanilla textures, so you may want to downscale them.
Also remember to credit me if you go ahead with including my textures - it's all I ask for :)
Hi, I really like your mod and it fits well into the game. I want to get your permission to integrate it into the next update of the Every Texture Optimized mod with you as the author, do you mind? 🦅

@RetroDude
No. My and Lillie's mods collide because they do exactly the same things - they both replace vanilla textures, although Lillie's mod also adds a lot of new items and functionality, unlike my mod which mostly adds a couple more clothing options.
RetroDude 20 Jul @ 6:07pm
Is it compatible with Lillie's Enhanced Militaria?

@BakerBochMod
All this mod does is replace textures, plus add a very lightweight method for wearing Red Dawn KLMK uniform in its winter (reverse side) colartion. Without enabling the Period-Accurate Pack, you won't see any new items spawn in the world.
BakerBochMod 12 Jul @ 5:04pm
Texture only version Will it be considered?
KapitanSWAT  [author] 3 Jul @ 2:25am
@Avionics
It's part of this download. In the in-game mod list you'll find a new entry named "Immersive Camos - Build 41 Pack". It contains the military uniforms/camos added with B42 back-ported to B41.
For technical reasons only, this mod is also visible in B42 version of the game - enabling it changes nothing, as the mod has no content in its B42 version.
Avionics 2 Jul @ 2:27pm
@KapitanSWAT I do not know much about modding with the workshop is the submod built into the current mod or is it a separate download?
Avionics 2 Jul @ 2:26pm
Holy cow I made it to the credits
KapitanSWAT  [author] 2 Jul @ 2:46am
Okay, I circumvented the issue by making a placeholder mod that doesn't do anything other than allow me to upload the back-ported content for B41. Don't be surprised if anyone sees a "BUILD 41-ONLY" mod in their Build 42 mod list.
KapitanSWAT  [author] 2 Jul @ 2:42am
Update:
I can't publish this submod without being on B41, which isn't something I plan on doing in the near future. Sorry guys, but despite the mod being game-ready, the new uploading system just doesn't want to accept it.
KapitanSWAT  [author] 2 Jul @ 12:22am
@Avionics
You know, I changed my mind. I'll back-port those items and all other B42-exclusive camos to B41 just for the sake of it.
Everyone thank this guy for changing my attitude.
Avionics 1 Jul @ 2:09pm
@KapitanSWAT You know what, Fair enough honestly. Is there a way I could do it? If not thats fine and honestly thats a fair reason
KapitanSWAT  [author] 1 Jul @ 12:57pm
@Avionics
Because I don't like back-porting. Yes, it's as simple as that. You could describe this as laziness, if you want.
Avionics 30 Jun @ 8:32am
Dumb question know nothing about mods to this game but, Why cant we get the Red Dawn KLMK into B41? I would love to use it

@lowkeystupid
I don't know for sure, but I don't see any reason for why it wouldn't work. Of course, all players have to have this mod enabled for it to work as intended (afaik enabling any kind of mod requires everyone to have it enabled, no matter if the mod is merely replacing textures or doing much more - same treatment for every mod). You're welcome to test it though.
lowkeystupid 11 Jun @ 1:19pm
Does this work in MP?
KapitanSWAT  [author] 5 Jun @ 10:00am
@Landstorm
You can always just play with vanilla texture sizes by setting them to the default (256) size in video settings. The camos will remain just as pixelated as their vanilla counterparts, albeit the patterns will be nominally accurate (just very blurry).
Landstorm 5 Jun @ 9:16am
a bit too high res for rest of the game
KapitanSWAT  [author] 30 May @ 8:17am
@ryan19
None at this time.
PZ's hunting camo has no single real-world counterpart. Being a Realtree-like design, it has no clear candidate even from just the designs offered by Realtree itself. Of course, I could take a random one and eyeball its colors to roughly match PZ's original, but that requires:
a) most importantly, a suitable pattern to be available online
b) knowing at least how many colors there are on PZ's camo (impossible given the nature of the pattern)
ryan19 30 May @ 7:16am
Any plans to retexture the hunting camo?
KapitanSWAT  [author] 25 May @ 1:25am
@Drewbski
Can I? Yes.
However, one of the goals of this mod was to preserve as much of vanilla's features as possible - and that includes overall clothing design. Yes, I really would love to have a perfect - as much as is possible in PZ - representation of IRL military uniforms and gear, with details such as button colors. But as I stated, it is not a goal of this mod.
Also, which was also pointed out earlier in the comments, the buttons should be fully obstructed by the shirt's (accurately: BDU Blouse's) camouflage material, with only the top most one (if buttoned) remaining visible.
Drewbski 24 May @ 2:53pm
Could you re-texture the buttons on the BDU top to be dark green?

Thank you

@Jessie
Webbing is the thing that gets hidden actually. And yeah, it needs to be fixed by the devs - because the non-Woodland camo webbing fits over the vest perfectly, same for the Type 56 chest rig.
Jessie 23 May @ 6:43pm
Now we need someone to fix the fact that webbing and vests cannot be worn at the same time without the vest being hidden
KapitanSWAT  [author] 6 May @ 8:29am
@FrankasTankas
Yes
FrankasTankas 6 May @ 7:46am
Are vest retextured like miliary one?
Your Unreliable Teammate 30 Apr @ 7:44pm
this is such a better alternative thank you kaptain

I saw the comments below. You are awesome, @KapitanSWAT.
KapitanSWAT  [author] 18 Apr @ 7:02am
I wouldn't be able to fix the issue without your help :) Reason being that I didn't intend to try out B41 again anytime soon, but thanks to you I went back and identified the issues with present in the B41 version of my mod.
Also, I appreciate the kind words :steamthumbsup:
Comrade Cat 18 Apr @ 6:56am
@KapitanSWAT
Thanks for spending time fixing the issue, espesially when modders mostly focus on B42. Just wanted to say that your mod is amazing, siriously it's a game changer. Original camos were always impossible to look at since I am a nerd in military gear (also those vanilla textures are so bright, it's like you are glowing).
KapitanSWAT  [author] 18 Apr @ 6:46am
... I know what went down. Turns out B41 had the ALICE pack and PASGT helmet stored in the main textures folder and not in an appropriate subfolder (not even in the clothes folder...), no wonder my mod didn't work.
Will be fixed in the next hour.
KapitanSWAT  [author] 18 Apr @ 6:21am
@Comrade Cat
What on Earth lol, B41 seems like a pile of spaghetti code that can't even load textures properly for whatever reason... I don't think there's anything I can do to fix this, but I'll try switching back to B41 and see how it looks like there - MAYBE, just maybe, I'll find the cause
Comrade Cat 18 Apr @ 4:25am
@KapitanSWAT
So I tried reinstalling the mod, didn't work. Then I decided to switch to B42 and mod works on it just fine. Also noticed that when you deactivate the mod textures don't change back untill you restart the game. Maybe B41 version just can't load these textures for some reason? Btw military backpack texture doesn't change as well, so it's not just headgear.
KapitanSWAT  [author] 18 Apr @ 3:19am
It's really weird that the issue only affects head-worn items, despite the textures being properly named/placed as far as I can tell
Comrade Cat 18 Apr @ 2:57am
@KapitanSWAT
Thanks for investigating the issue, however I've alredy tried restarting the game after activating the mod and it didn't work. I will try to reinstall the mod later and see if it helps. I also notisted that boonie hat woodland texture also doesn't change.
KapitanSWAT  [author] 18 Apr @ 2:49am
@Comrade Cat
Update on the issue:
It appears that the helmet's texture was NOT changed in B42 compared to B41 (judging by texture creation/modification dates on my PC; this also means the names match between the 2 builds). I'm not sure what the issue could be.
Try restarting the game after enabling the mod, see if the texture displays properly after doing so (be it in the character creation screen or in-game proper - does not matter).
KapitanSWAT  [author] 17 Apr @ 7:02am
@Comrade Cat
Weird. I'll see what the issue is
Comrade Cat 16 Apr @ 1:46pm
Hey dev, I've found a bug in b41 version: military helmet texture doesn't change while other textures do. I have only both of your mods active so it's not a compatability issue, but I only checked in charachter creation screen, didn't actually start/load a game because i think there shoudn't be any difference.

@KapitanSWAT np, thanks for great mod

@я щас убью всех
Thanks for the report. The bug's fixed now.
KapitanSWAT  [author] 15 Apr @ 8:00am
@я щас убью всех
I assume this is for B41, correct? It worked fine in B42 last time I checked (yesterday)

IC Period Pack requires \AccCamos, which does not exist, remove \
KapitanSWAT  [author] 13 Apr @ 1:41am
@John FBI
As per the description:
"B41 lacks all vanilla camos below 6-Color Desert (+ 6-CD items added with B42), as well as M1 helmets (and thus, the Mitchell patterns altogether). B42 contains all content listed in the description."
So yes, B41 lacks Red Dawn KLMK because it was only added to the game in B42 (all camos listed below 6-CD are B42-exclusive). And no, I'm not going to backport official content to B41.
By the way - KLMK itself is a different pattern, which the Red Dawn KLMK drew inspiration from (as well as other Soviet bloc camos).
John FBI 12 Apr @ 7:15pm
is klmk only for b42?
KapitanSWAT  [author] 12 Apr @ 12:51am
@Mojocaesar
Details, need details!
Which part of this mod "didn't work"? Texture replacements? New items?
Did you restart the game after enabling the mod? What build are you on? Did you enable the Period-Accurate Pack before proceeding to look for the new items? Any other mods? If looking for new items, did you make sure to start a fresh save (one where you didn't go anywhere near any surplus stores)?
