2.5/10 "High quality easy map - yay!"
Proceeds to cluelessly grind teeth for over half an hour before giving up and reaching for walkthrough.
It's official, I'm stupid... :steamfacepalm:

"Difficulty: 2.5/10" this chamber took me 30 minutes to solve it. Anyways, nice test chamber:citranium:

Maybe a collection of your easier maps, "Mikeastro's EZ Collection", would be fun?
Snazz 11 Jun @ 10:23pm
Cute and nifty map. Was longer than I expected, might trip up some beginners for a while. Some of the logic in this map reminds me of my own maps.

I'm glad that everyone liked this one!
@SkyGlass Thank you so much for the kind words! I hope you will continue to enjoy some of my other maps. Great work solving this one :cozycrashfish:

Love it! The almost PETi look highlights the excellent logic, and the combination made the map a pleasure to play. It's a 2.5 for the pros, but it's a bit harder for casual players. The key move was smart, and it's awesome there are no Ninja moves required to solve the puzzle. It is just the right amount of difficulty and very solvable. So glad I'm Following your creations, and thanks for the fun evening:)

Very nice stuff! I appreciated the thematic consistency in floor portal usage; in particular, in the opening of portals under the cube, which I think serves the contest prompt. The presence of some "one-use" structure in the map I think also helps the map feel pleasantly "light." There are excess surfaces, but they are all tractable, and I would not consider them misleading due to the emphasis placed on the surfaces that actually are important.

I will say that this name might not have been the best one to pull from the mathematics dictionary, given how hard it is to search for and how it overlaps with the various other fields (of a different kind) in this game. Maybe picking a particular kind of field might have helped? Not a big deal.

Very nice map. Got a lot of Gigo vibes while playing it, and I feel you nailed the "bridging the gap" theme perfectly. Thanks for making :D

@QuadStick Thanks you! Glad you like the music :cozycrashfish:
@hfmanson Nice work solving this one!
@Mattchew It's not totally trivial! There is some definite thinking required to sort everything out. This map did kinda get me excited again to make some more maps, so who knows...
Mattchew 2 Apr @ 10:38pm
Haha I must be rusty, that took me a little bit! Damn clever solution however, I dig the very subtle height play and management Fits the prompt very well, and i'm happy to see a map from you again ^^

original level!
QuadStick 2 Apr @ 11:03am
Love the music.

Glad you all continue to enjoy this one!
@Flint I'm not sure what part you are stuck on, but don't forget that floor surfaces can be used for two different purposes!
@E L Y T R O N Haha it happens to everyone from time to time! But for a 20 minute solve I wouldn't go much higher than, say 4.5/10 :cozycrashfish: Thanks for the fav!
E L Y T R O N 31 Mar @ 10:14pm
alright your 2.5/10 is like my 7/10. Definitely took me almost 20 minutes. Which actually isn't half bad for me. I like your "easy" stuff...I can actually complete them in a session :steamhappy: Favorited!
ShaggieIII 31 Mar @ 3:04pm
Fun. Twistier than it first looks.

I've completed Reluquiae, but this is very challenging for me. Any hints?
Mikeastro  [author] 31 Mar @ 3:53am
@bullfrog Thanks a lot for playing and for the video! A perfect solution as always :]
bullfrog 31 Mar @ 3:20am
Great little puzzle and I think @Nobody No-One sums it up well, as it took me more than 5 mins, but probably less than 10 mins to solve, plus yes, it definitely required "meaningful thought" video 1 - intended solution?
Mikeastro  [author] 31 Mar @ 3:02am
Thanks for playing everyone! I'm glad you all seem to like this one :cozycrashfish:

Nobody No-One 30 Mar @ 9:15pm
I liked that a lot! Easy, yes, but it still took meaningful thought about the portal management and doing things in the right order . Thumbs up.
Spider_Dawg 30 Mar @ 8:43pm

Very nice laser map. I'll be waiting for Ring and Group.

Why does this chamber's song sounds like an Among Us Drip song?
