@rycch There will be Resistance versions, though I do not want them to be basic reskins of the Combine npcs

@rycch No problem. I was wondering, are you going to make rebel versions as well in the future? I love how the combines you made that are from the original Garry's Mod and new ones you made up are more competent and I would love to see resistance ones as well.

@FunnyGoofyGoober Already in the works. I want Rebel equivalents for most of the Combine variants, however I do want the Rebels to play slightly different from their Combine counterparts. For example, the rebel marksman will not have a cloak, but it will have a secondary smg.

@PotPam I balanced this around vanilla. So weapons from other bases were not really a consideration for these. Also, in regards to the explosives suggestion, the shield does not stop the blast wave, so you can kill enemies through the shield that way.

Weapons from weapon bases that have penetration mechanics like modern warfare base can sometimes shoot through the shield. Also, maybe making it so that explosive damage can destroy the shield would be very nice as some kind of counter

do you think you could make a metro police npc with a shield that has a behavior of putting his allied first instead of himself so he will like be infront of his allies so the enemys hopefully aim for him instead of the ally behind him

Plus that would probably be a longer project given the other things I am working on. Sorry, I do not think I would be able to do that at this moment in time. Maybe once I have more experience with vehicles and animation in gmod.
