I hope you make all the game xD
I must admit that all six of your mods work great. I currently have 375 mods enabled including all six of yours and everything works great.
The problem was in the Army Carousel mod

This mod behaves very strangely. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. So it was very difficult to find this problem, because of it other mods seemed to be the culprit.
In the end, it turned out that this mod is the reason for the game crashing when trying to view lords, heroes and units in detail.
Units of the Imperial Provinces I: Averland
Units of the Imperial Provinces IV: Talabecland
Units of the Imperial Provinces V: Nordland
Works fine alone, all together or with other mods:
Units of the Imperial Provinces II: Ostermark
Units of the Imperial Provinces III: Hochland
Units of the Imperial Provinces VI: Ostland
I have the same problem xXalexc925iii529cxelaXx.
I hope you can fix this bug.
Anyway nice mod
I really like this mod and its siblings. However, I've noticed a terrible bug: when I access the empire's unit list, the game crashes. After several tests, I've discovered it's due to one or all of the province mods.
Do you think it could be fixed?
I noticed that the averland halberdiers have very high armour rating.
Keep up the excellent work! Looking forward to the next installment.
Wonderful unit mods you''re making. I also encountered a bug tho, A huge selection of your units for some reason get the name PLACEHOLDER when they are on an enemy team/army. When the same units are controlled by my forces, they have their names properly displayed. It's not a huge issue, but hopefully you can fix this. For example Vengeful Blades etc. become PLACEHOLDER when controlled by the enemy.
That being said, I wonder if anyone else has this issue? Maybe its just on my end.
Overall, the amount of work that you have put in, especially on the unit models is remarkable. I am impressed with the scope of your project, and the speed of the updates. In the year and a half since you first published Averland, you’ve put in a lot of work. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that you had been working on the project for another year or two before you published Averland.
I think as far as my next campaign is concerned, I’m going to hold off on using your mods a little while longer. This is mainly because of every empire faction having access to every other faction's units. I am afraid that I would march my army into the empire and find everybody using a hodgepodge of units from all over the place rather than sleek thematic armies. Nonetheless, I’m definitely keeping my eyes on these mods with much interest in your future updates.
Likewise are Hochland archers really supposed to have a movement speed of 80? Seeing them zoom around the battlefield made me giggle.
Your knights have a lot of variety and flavor to them. I think so far they are really one of the highlights of these mods.
When I went into the Skirmish screen I saw that “Aldebrand Ludenhof's” name appears to be missing from the tooltip and unit info card when I mouse over him. I only know that is who it is because of the text description.
Also, "Death head Oficial" his name appears to have a spelling error and capitalization inconsistency --- I think it should be "Death Head Official".
The unit cards for both of these lords show their whole body, while it seems like the standard for characters and hero’s established by Creative Assembly is portraits that show their upper body and face. I see in your mod description that you are “"Still working on Portraits and portholes for lords.” so I am sure that you will get it.
There were a few glaring balance issues that were difficult to ignore. The Nordland and Tababecland archers are significantly better (160 range and better arrow damage) than the generic archers while at the same time costing nearly half the upkeep (51 as opposed to numbers in the 90’s). This doesn’t feel right, from their stats they seem more like Tier 2 or 3 units approaching Huntsmen.
Your Hochland Longrifles seem to overlap with the vanilla Hochland Long Rifles, but your ones have 30% more range and come in a unit of 68? It seems on paper to be quite powerful even with a lower damage output per individual model, but I haven’t really tested them in battle. — A simple solution to the overlap might be renaming the vanilla unit and turning them into a generic name like “Imperial Longrifles” or “Auxiliary Longrifles” and then making your unique unit be better quality while retaining the Hochland name.
On a side note, it seems that your mod played well with Chaos Robbie's Old World Campaign and about 80 other mods I am running without issues. I only played turn 1 to have a look around, but it’s still a good sign.
Looking at the unit stats, I love the slight variation you have made for units from different factions, with an occasional one like Ostermark spearmen and swordsmen standing out as being a small cut above the rest. The better units don’t seem to have a surcharge in their upkeep costs to reflect their quality, but I figure you must still be early in the process of balance tweaking, so I am not worried about slight advantages. Based on the patterns I saw, you could be planning to balance the entire provinces/factions against one another trying to emphasize and buff selections of units and faction mechanics for particular provinces while making it all balance out in the end for the faction as a whole.
I downloaded all 5 of your Imperial Provinces mods and played around with them to see if I wanted to include them in my next campaign, and I’ve got some initial feedback I’d like to share
Part 1 of 5
As I loaded into a campaign as Nordland, I immediately saw that I could recruit units from Tableland, Averland, and Nordland units. I had the impression that Nordland would only get the special Nordland unique units, and likewise for the other factions. I thought it might just be a bug or interaction with my other mods, so I turned off all of my other mods except for Mixu and restarted and it remained the same. As Ostmark I was able to recruit Ostmark, Tableland, Averland, and Nordland units, so it seems that you have the units for Tableland, Averland, and Nordland must be in some kind of unit table that gives all empire factions access to them.
Sorry, it's taking me longer than usual because I'm constantly adding new things to the mod hahahaha, and because between studies and work, it's getting complicated. It'll be up by midweek or next Friday, and the mod won't disappoint. I promise!
Maybe each province has its own special recruitment building and any faction that owns a settlement within that province can recruit those units????
