For the metal refinery, if you have an auto-sweeper next to it, it picks up the item before it comes out from the conveyor belt.
I'm guessing it could be possible to delay somehow the moment that the item produced is available for picking up.

Skip that restart popup by hitting the esc key.
Then grab yourself mod updater and force an update
which translation breaks?
It blends in so well that after a very short time, it seems like the game must of always looked like that!
